I know that bnha’s story is prolly gonna end with izuku being the last ofa user, but it would be rlly interesting if there was a story about the last quirkless person alive and they inherit ofa as the predicted final user, and in that generation some tragedy happens where people start losing quirks so having ofa to pass on works out. Each user tries to fix the phenomenon of losing quirks (so now ofa is for trying to save the world of meta abilities), but ig that would be dragging the story. Idk, or maybe if izuku has kid(s) then his child or one of his children is born quirkless so izuku passes it on to his kid, but that has a higher chance of becoming a repeat of boruto so I like my first idea better 😭😭

One For All can't be transferred to a person with a quirk anymore because it will drain the person's life, But if there was another Quirkless person to receive it in theory Deku could pass it on. Bakugou didn’t actually know about OFA. When Deku gave OFA to Bakugou he thought it was the end of his journey as the holder of OFA but he was OK with it. He didn’t care, as long as he could protect islanders he didn’t mind letting go of his dream as hero. He could have ran away like All Might did when he faced AFO as teenager but he choose not to (I’m not calling All Might a coward here). And OFA seeing this decided that Deku was worthy of wielding this power and rejected Bakugou by going back to Deku and erased Bakugou’s memories in order to tie all loose ends. OFA has a will and it was briefly shown in Season 2.

Technically speaking Izuku dopes have 7 quirks but all might Izuku and yoichi were perceived quirkless. Yoichi actually wasn’t but the ability to pass on a quirk without having one of your is pretty useless. Afo gave yoichi a stockpiling quirk when tch combined? With yoichi original power so it’s unclear if OFA counts as 1 or 2 quirks as itself. All this to say I don’t consider the first to have passed down his quirk to Izuku in as when given to him OFA was already possessed by someone else(all might) and when passed to Izuku first had no say and later when quirks were passed on he had nothing more than the quirk they all share. So he might have 8 quirks and yoichi may not count in ‘all the past users passed down their quirks’. But that’s just a theory, A MHA THEORY!

Correction: It's not that deku can't transfer One for all now it's just that one for all has stored so much power that after deku the power will be more than ever so it can't be controlled more otherwise it would break the user's body more just like deku in the beginning and still now . The reason why deku *may* be the last user is because OFA is best passed onto quirkless people and there are slowly going to be less and less quirkless people to pass it to since 20% of people are quirkless worldwide let alone Japan so think of quirkless people as an endangered species nearly extinct and they are the only ones that can use OFA to it’s fullest capacity

For the reason that OFA cannot be transferred again is because of the quirk singularity theory. Do you remember the past OFA users using the cup metaphor in the episode where deku was in a coma? The cups were used to demonstrate the core of the quirk and the bodies of the users. 1. The quirk was suited for a quirkless person, because they would have no quirk genes and therefore a perfect empty vessel for a quirk to manifest in. 2) the core of OFA has grown overtime since the 1st user and everytime it’s passed down the core grows and each quirk inside it gets stronger. Now deku can hold the quirk without premature death like the fourth user because his body can handle the core of the quirk because of his quirklessness and because his body is more evolved. In the provisional licensing exam arc w/ todoroki bakugo inasa and camie we got to see how the younger generations quirks are more powerful, because as time goes on and people evolve so does their capacity to hold their quirks and their cores therefore making their quirks stronger. So all in all he can’t pass on the quirk because the core has fully manifested and tethered itself to him. Now this is not only in a physical sense but in a mental sense as well. Deku is the perfect person to hold this quirk because of his mentality and his will to fight evil. His morals align with the past users as does his drive to defeat AFO, so his mental and physical compatibility with the quirk make it even more that he the perfect and final user. You were partially right, basically the quirk grew so powerful that only a person who didn’t have their own quirk to begin with could handle it, which is why All Might was able to get a handle on the power almost instantly, by the time it was passed to Deku it was not only so powerful that only a quirkless person could handle it, but even Deku’s body now struggled to wield the power. Basically, if the power were able to be transferred again it would destroy the person no matter how much training or body conditioning they do. As such Deku is the last and most powerful user cuz the power has literally become too strong to pass on

4:16 to be more specific, Deku gets 6 quirks (ofa itself excluded). Yes, All Might or Toshinori Yagi was quirkless before getting the quirk from the 7th user Nana Shimura. The 6 quirk he should get are Gearshift (2nd user), Fa Jin (3rd user), Danger Sense (4th user), Black wip (5th user), Smokescreen (6th user) and Float (7th user). That‘s all i know, but I‘m currently at the Manga chapter, where Deku and Bakugo are fighting Shigaraki, so yeah.

Though you could point out the fact that he technically also had the transfer quirk so he really has 8 quirks in all. Though he's not going to be able to transfer it to anybody after. And you basically got the gist of him not being able to give it to another person, but not that he can't its because if he did then they would die extremely early or something idk😭

this is all speculation (meaning its not confirmed) but deku might actually get bakugos quirk, because in the manga, and adult eri sends him back in time so he could warn fye 1st user of ofa that he could transfer quirks, so basically, bakugo would technically be the 2nd user of ofa.

12:36 So the way I understand it most people's body can't actually withstand more then 1 quirk. The Manga describes it like this: Imagine a cup (a person) full to the brim with water (the quirk). You try to add more water to the cup and it'll just spill over. A quirkless person is an empty cup therefore if you just fill the empty cup you get no spill. So, it's not a matter of it CANT be transfered any longer. It's a matter of it SHOULDNT be transfered any longer since being quirkless by Izuku's time is becoming rarer and rarer (Hikage the 4th user proves this since the spill was basically OFA draining his life force causing him to age faster, he pretty much unalived of old age at the age of 40)
