Foolish king. All the war happened because of his incompetence and idiocity. His first wife died giving birth to a son, as he was so desperate for a male heir. Then he hastily declared his daughter as his heir, as if he was gonna die the next day. Then he remarried, and fathered 3 sons and lived for like 20+ years. His daughter's children were all illegitimate. He taught her nothing of kingship. Gave the Targeryan dynasty into the hands of Valeryans, as his daughter was married there. Still his daughter's children were bastards. Everybody knew that children of Rhaenyra were illegal. Yet he still didn't abandon her. What did he wanted, his real sons to beg to bastard children of Rhaenyra? Fool king.
