I think its Niji's live2D software, which might be proprietary to Niji. From their past conversations I think they can log in via the software into Niji's servers, with their unique userID and password, and it outputs their live2D model while capturing their webcam/iphone input. And other streamers like Pomu can get the output live2D model of other streamers like Selen via Niji's server. This makes collabs with live2D really convenient. Unlike Hololive's where their live2D models often disappear or get disconnected during online collabs. So if someone like Selen doesn't bother to switch off her input webcam/iphone, the server still outputs her live2D capturing Selen's movements, and anyone with Selen's model on their screen should see her movements.

@@Fate025 iirc Hololive also has some kind of server or used to use. i remember seeing clips where the L2D model just got replaced with a box saying "AirServer"

@@headshothunt3r414 i see, but airserver sounds like a iphone/apple service. Maybe they are accessing their live2D via apple's cloud software via their iphones? Well whatever it is, hololive's one just isn't as reliable. But when they do an off collab and the talent brings their own iphone over, it seems to be way more stable. So I'm guessing the live2D data is stored inside their iphone.
