Especially something said about a warrior who's nickname was breakbones. Just goes to show how much he cared for them and Rhaenyra. Was only ever soft and gentle with them all.
I actually love how she says “of course he did” because she heard him talking about how he treated them and she knew Jace’s father really did love them
The fact they called him “break bones” and Jace calls him gentle is so sweet I honestly wish we got to see Harwin and Rhaenyra fall in love. I know it was a short scene but you can tell it hurt them both he had to leave and I’m sure it hurt even more when she found out what happened to him he deserved better. ❤️
Laenor saw them as his sons, blood be damned. And Daemon loved them as well, even if he'd never be their dad. (to be fair they were also his nephews and great-nephews)
Three men that loved, had pride, and wanted to protect them. Three men that also respected each other....if not for Alicent and her monsters she bore, those boys would have been a breath of fresh air, the best of all three men, and would have brought that kingdom a time of peace and summer like never seen before. 😢
@@_Noluv for the cause of the Black's, he would protect them, and train them to be a leader when it comes time.. but aye whatever 🙄, he is their step father
@@Blu3Br3 Daemon is just a roommate that sleeps with their mother. In no way shape or form is he a father figure to them. He would feed them all to the dragons if meant winning the war
I love that both dads loved all the children honestly it was a beautiful thing to see. I hope the brother that took him and his dad out in that fire gets it real good.
A hot take, but Harwin bouncing that baby and looking at Rhaenyra might be the sexiest moment in the GOT cannon. I say that as someone who has spent years thinking about Ygritte and Jon in the cave. I have no plans to have children, but I’d probably have three brown haired boys too he was around me. Such as shame we didn’t get more of his relationship with Rhaenyra and her boys.
I'm so happy that the Strong (except larys footish) grew in them. They grew up gentle and kind, like their father and grandpapa. If only they had more time together.
@@NeoDarkling What I mean is they improved Baela's hair but Rhaena is stuck with the same design, very stiff and unbecoming of such a young pretty actress.
Harwin promised he’d be back, he’s the strongest man in the Seven Kingdoms and not the kind of man to break a promise. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s currently punching his way back from death to Rhaenyra and the boys for a season 3 reappearance
Just look at how he held his baby boy ❤. He was proud to be a dad. Every mom's dream, to find a man who would love her, want a family with her, and be the example of an amazing man, father and husband to their children
In the books, it never specifies whether or not Sir Criston Cole or Sir Harwin Strong is Jace's father but, in the series, it appears the showrunners and the writers are trying to make it look as if Jace is Sir Harwin Strong's son.
OK, this is exactly why I can never really rock with the black side. They’re openly talking about this kid’s father, which would make him a bastard, but his mother and stepfather has murdered other royals or Highborne people of status a crowded room over something that was true they cut that pours man top of his head off
The greens would do the same though. Alicents children are only half Targaryean . Nobody publicly denounced the legitimacy of the crown and lives because it gives way for a coup de tat by relatives. Bastards were basically “adopted” and their past was “erased” if a heir was needed. Hundreds of common women had to watch their blood children be raised by their stepmothers as their own just because they didn’t have noble blood. Notice the issue(In the show) was never the kids being bastards it was their Targaryen blood coming from a female instead of a male heir. Alicent is starting to see the “legitimacy” excuse was bs by the way she’s getting treated now but honestly it was common sense from the beginning.
Thinking about it now, it's no wonder Alicents' children hated Rhaenyra and her children so much more than just the cold Brainwashing of Alicent and their grandfather instilled- Jace and his brothers (plus Baella and her sister) not only had mothers that genuinely loved them without condition but 2 to THREE fathers (Lenore, Sir Harwin, later Daemon) who also loved, cared and supported them all while they just barely saw their own father who didn't even like them anymore than he did their mother. They watched from a distance how true family behaved and loved on one another (no pun intended), and they were stuck in sidelines blaming Viserys (he was at fault) and Rhaenyra for it only realizing the truth till it was too late. They had the option to ignore their mother. Had they just stayed to what Viserys instructed (Aegon didn't even want the crown after all and they already knew their mother to be an uncaring liar out for her own hide) and sent word to Rhaenyra of his demise, how much of this wouldn't have even been?
Prince Jacaerys wins a safe passage across the Crossing for Queen Rhaenyra’s army coming from the North and the Riverlands and heading towards King’s Landing.. jace being a leader, politically intelligent, fair diplomat and a great conciliator you would have been a great king 🖤👑
neither do rhaenyra two first sons. i think its normal especially dealing with different races. i have a biracial daughter and she looks more like her yt father than me
It's because their mother was a Velaryon and the Velaryon genes are said to be dominant in the series. And Rhaenyra's first 3 sons aren't from Laenor's, they're from Harwin so here's the Strong genes got dominant
