90 fov is not the best view and not even 80 for me. If we were to choose between those 2 it always depends on the situation you are in but most of the time if we take professional eSports players they mostly use 80 fov rather than 90 or optimize it between those numbers. The ones who actually understand how that works they choose number between them for example 85 is in exactly between those 2 but now should you increase or decrease it? It depends on your liking and what you think gives you better performance. 80 and 90 fov both have their ups and downs. While 90 fov gives you bigger field of view and you can see enemy much better, on 80 fov enemies movement ar much slower and your gyroscope speed seems faster due to the characteristics of fov. So if you want to have a little more field of view you can go for 86 or 87 or if you prefer better aim you can go for 84 or 83. Im not saying that if you use 86 or 87 you will not have great aim or if you use 84 or 83 your view will be bad. All that depends on your skill, movement and reaction but even if your aim is great at 86 87 it will be much better at lower fovs and even if your fov is enough for you and you can easily see and react to enemy increasing fov will still give you better view.
