It's been 6 years since the first trailer for Breath of The Wild came out. I was in 5th grade and so excited. Now I'm in 9th grade and this game got me through all of the hell that is middle school. I still find myself coming back to this game from time to time just to remember that feeling while playing it. I was invincible when I had it. Whenever I was hurt at school (physically or verbally) I went home and just escaped to Breath of the Wild. It was a soothing experience. I remember that it came out during my 6th grade year. I talked about it way too much to people who didn't care at all but I just couldn't help it. I remember I didn't get the game on the release day, March 3rd, but on the next day, which was a Saturday, I woke up and my Dad wasn't at our house. We usually each wake up early and watch a movie together but he wasn't home this day so I didn't really know why. I remember just waking up and sitting on the couch playing a Pokemon game while I was waiting for him to return. He came in and put a Nintendo Switch on our kitchen table. I was so happy. I ran over and immediately pulled it out. He told me that he bought me the switch so I had to buy the games for it. We then went out to a breakfast place and ate food. Then we hit up the Gamestop. I immediately grabbed Breath of the Wild and 1 2 switch. I remember getting home and hooking up my switch to the T.V. When the game first started up my jaw immediately dropped. When Zelda said "Open your eyes" I just was so excited for my adventure. I wasn't the fastest player at all. It actually took me over a year to beat the game but I now have over 400 hours on the game. I remember the first blight I went to fight was the water blight. he was so hard. I was struggling so much but I remember finally beating him. I was so proud of myself. I view that as actually one of the times I was proudest of myself. I wish I could recreate that feeling again. I can't wait for the next Zelda game. I've been having a rough time in high school and I've kinda had this void that I can't really seem to fill anymore. I have a Zelda shelf up in my room with the Manga, some Amiibo, and 2 different Zelda themed lights. I also have about 5 Zelda posters in my room. That game has been there when no one else was and this music takes me back. Thank you for reading my stupid story. I have to say, this is one of the few soundtracks that speak to my heart, specially mipha's main theme. For some reason I can always feel her through this song, the pain of loving someone that won't be with you, and the will to save everybody even if you're not the strongest, the desire to heal everyone even if it's impossible...and finally, the peace of her inner spirit once link saved the Zora's and released Vah Rutah, I really get on the verge of tears every time I listen to this song.... Nintendo sure knows how to pull your heart strings some times...

the "cooking in hateno village" song was really clever, using the cooking sounds in the game. i always thought it had a lot of rhythm when i played zelda.

I was bursting with excitement at the new adventures yet to come, the new discoveries, the new terrain, the graphics Honestly legend of zelda games have been with me through my entire life. They remind me of the good old days as a child, just sitting on the floor screaming at bokoblins and crying because I was afraid it was so fun I can't believe the game's been out since 2017. This was the first Year I had ever played a SINGLE Zelda game in my life. I'm 16 and never touched it, but I got a switch and thought "Huh, 'Breath of the Wild' looks good, I'll try it" that was 2 months ago and have already completed a second playthrough of the game. I decided I didn't want to overwrite my first play through because that is something special to me. Completing something on your first run. So I made a second account and finished that run in 4 days. managed to hit 40 shrines in 1 day and boy oh boy did that feel good. Also completed every side quest, every shrine, and got all the memories. I now have an addiction and need to play the other games IMMEDIATELY. Cannot wait for Breath of the Wild 2 to finally drop.

this is my favorite game of all time. The music, the gameplay, the memories, the dlc, the Easter eggs, the enemies, and all of the unique features. The game is just so perfect overall and I can't wait for the sequel.

Brings me back to sophomore year, super unsure of myself and hating the fact I was in quarantine taking classes. I'll be honest, Lofi definitely was one of those important parts of my life that made me feel more whole and less worried. Somehow someway this music made it a bit more bearable to live on, and I'm forever grateful for being able to listen to this type of music.

Arguably the best game on Switch.

Don't know if its just me, but a lot of these songs seem to just cut out, mid note or even vocal. Nice mix, but jarring transitions. Some of them just end before they actually end.
