Totally awesome 👌 We are not at 16,005 rounds on our first metro arms mac classic. Problem free since 2019 and my kid gets so much satisfaction from it
Hello sir! Try looking up Eagle Imports, they also have a facebook page. Hope they can help! Full disclosure. We upgraded the sear, sear spring and hammer to bring down the trigger pull from 4 to 2. Shoots like a dream. Nothing wrong with the stock configuration but we need this lighter trigger pull for USPSA/IPSC.
My dad has a metrillo 2011. They have a special recoil buster system guide rod and spring combination. Their gun is lighter than my SVI 2011 and shoots flatter. To answer you, their guns definitely shoot flatter. My gun is lighter than metrillo's 1911 because I didnt put a tungsten sleeve on my barrel. In terms of reliability and performance I can say my gun can compete quite well with it considering it is a fraction of the cost and its parts have never worn down from 2 years of nonstop competition. (EGW and extreme engineering internals) Im not a grand master shooter but a top level shooter used my gun and concluded that I need not upgrade I do salute Metrillo's high end customization and their smiths build their guns based on feedback from our top shooters. They really are being used by some of the country's strongest competitors like Bro Tecson who's gun shoots super flat and fast. 0.14 splits at 10 meter targets My dad has run his gun without issue and he's been a Metrillo customer since 1997. His Fastidious model is circa 2016 and is still running super fine to this day Im just tremendously lucky that my dad supports my sport :-)
@@tnh723 thanks for the comment sir. Still learning from your vids as I'm just a newbie to this sport. Your tips helps a lot for novice shooters like me
Sir off topic question po, Tanong ko lang po Sana kung ano size ung fiber optic rod sa front sight natin. Papalitan ko po sana sakin same model Tayo FA
Snake used the original .45, this one is the 9mm version. You know I actually finished that awesome game on the ps2. That was quite the experience. Reticulated Pythons tasted awful 😆
Salve signore! Grazie per il commento. Molti tiratori da competizione posizionano il carrello in questo modo perché è più veloce e più affidabile che tirare il carrello dalle dentellature posteriori. Sì, farò attenzione a non mettere la mano davanti alla volata. Grazie mille signore :-)
Hi sir I haven't had the chance to make a formal review but we have shot our first MAC Classic 9mm 1911 with over 17,000 rounds from late 2019 to 2023 almost nonstop (except pandemic lockdown) and it has been absolutely flawless. We replaced the fire control parts like the hammer, sear, sear spring, and trigger with EGW and Extreme Engineering brand components with the help of Jay Pecson at True Weight in QC. We liked it so much ee bought a second gun so I can also shoot the same division with my daughter. This second metro arms has more than 7000 rounds fired since this initial video was taken. We also added a magwell from Speed Edge on her gun for easier mag insertion. Hope this helps you sir!
Disabled the slide lock because I thought it would be better that way for competition. I was mistaken and put it back on a few weeks afterwards. My recent videos shows it working again
I used to shoot standard/highcap division. We typically deactivate the slide lock there. Because of how each window in a stage is designed we always have a lot of ammo and know when we will change magazines. Its a habit I carried over to classic division. So now I learned that having the slide lock ON for this division is useful because of my much lower capacity and its nice to be notified by slide lock that I'm empty. Rather than lose 1 or 2 seconds from pulling the trigger on an empty chamber and then racking it.
For IPSC Classic Division, we wanted to shoot minor power factor so that we can use 10 rounds in a magazine instead of 8 in a major scoring power in .40 or .45 cal. The majority of top competitors in this division also use 9mm. Hope this helps!
Wow, congratulations! May it serve you well! :-) Full disclosure: I had Jay Pecson af true weight fine tune my gun. Added EGW/extreme engineering trigger, sear sear spring, and hammer. I did shoot both my guns for a good while before modifying them. Zero hiccups afterwards, even after two years of continuous competition. The ft and finish are still amazing, and we trust it completely
I was lucky because I got the first one after one week in 2019 and 2 months later in 2022. One of my friends waited nearly 6 months. I really hope Metro Arms has increased their capacity to keep up with orders.
First time ko po kasi magka unit, tagal nq nakuha LTOPF pero matagal din ako magdecide which unit 🤣 leaking tulong po ng vids niyo Dito sa RU-vid sir more power
Many thanks sir I do appreciate it. Its a big responsibility but its good that there are many good choices nowadays compared to even a few years ago. Pati quality gunsmith & aftermarket parts dumami na
We sometimes disable the slide stop sir. My daughter prefers a gun that does not have one because its easier for her to rack the gun when it goes empty during a competition.
Yes sir. You can bring to a gunsmith to modify its looks ot make upgrades. The good news is this gun is already very nicr out of the box. Nag upgrade lang kami para bumaba ang trigger pull para sa anak ko
They do sir. Unfortunately they seem go sell out pretty fast. I got mine a month after ordering it last year. My buddy who ordered his this year was told to wait 4 months.
@@tnh723 No they don't, y'all must have gotten what was left, but Tristar owns metro arms now and they are discontinued, they are more focused on the American Classic II line.
Hi dude, sorry for the late reply. Yes it appears that Tristar did purchase Metro Arms. But they said they are still making the mac classic. I think the demand is really high. Their factory isnt too big, they got good people running production, and there was maybe a dozen big machines that looked like CNCs. Hope the new money would ramp up production without sacrificing quality. My daughter and I took our guns to the world shoot in Thailand last November and it ran flawlessly.
Hi sir I already have an SVI 2011. Im using it in my old videos when I was shooting standard divisuon. True Weight built it for me in 2015. The Pantera is also a very good gun
Depends on what division you prefer (standard division for 2011s and classic for single stack). I used 2011s for a long time and enjoy very much the more powerful .40 and 18 round magazines. These days I like shooting the single stack because its much lighter than my old standard gun. Both are equally enjoyable but its more challenging to shoot single stack division in competition because you need more accuracy and the magwell is narrower when you change magazines
Thank a lot for sir.cause I'm preparing choosing a pistol.cause there so many brand of gun.choosing d best one.im thinking to choose d SPS pantera or cz shadow 2 but that too expensive.but when i watch your video.i think that's enough for me.
There is the metro arms American Classic 2. Not a bull barrel but well below 30k. Parang 25k if Im not mistaken. Also 9mm and very good quality. Upgraded model po kasi ang MAC classic vs the American Classic 2 version
Hello sir. Nothing really. It shoots very well out of the box. Siguro reduce trigger pull from stock to 2 pounds. And a bigger magwell. I also plan to replace the stock recoil spring with 9 pound ISMI springs because those have proven to last for years before needing replacement. Most of my changes are cosmetic. Hope this helps!
