If you watch BTS footage of them, it's really obvious they developed an attraction to each other IRL while filming Word of Honor. Whenever they're in the same event together, not even air can pass through them because they have no concept of personal space around each other and there are moments caught on camera where they subtly try to hold hands thinking that no one will notice. There's even a clip where Gong Jun/Simon says if they held off on filming the show until winter, he might've never met Zhang Zhehan, implying that he was more afraid of never meeting Zhehan than losing out on a role. They're the only onscreen couple I've seen that has a strong chance of being real.
