Tech-Magical Attraction has gotten a pretty good reputation so far. So, I made this video showing how I make the first game in the mini-series.
After I had enough fun with Kevin & Friends, I decided to go to a different route since my cousin told me that I should make something more original than a Diary of a Wimpy Kid knock-off. And since I like Anime, I decided to go ahead and make one on my own, and there we have it. An original Anime concept in a world where technology was influenced by magic sources.
Making this game was quite fun, too. I showed me lots of benefits of platformer development. That being said, I tried to think to what good spots I should put the enemies in based on this small level design. I also put in lava-falls similar to Sonic 3 & Knuckles. And yes, this level you’re looking at is based in Lava Reef Zone.
I initially made this with TurboWarp first so that I can use tools that Gandi IDE doesn’t have yet. And when I’m finished, I import the project to Gandi IDE, install Gandi extension, and finish the rest.
I absolutely love what I made for New Years Eve. So by the time Ages Team license “Tech-Magical Adventure”, I will try to put in as much effort into this big project as possible at maximum.
But for now, we all have to wait and see.

To avoid any "lags" try to use a tick broadcast instead of lots of forever loop. It make the game more stable

Last time I had a discussion about ticks on Discord, I shared that I don't see really much use of it. Though, I could try to use ticks for the first time. Forever loops are something I always growing up as I taught myself how does Scratch work for a couple of years, like in my old 2020 video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-94JdAIyx2uE.htmlfeature=shared If AT finishes with other projects and if they are ready to start a new one, then I'll start making experiments with tick systems as you said; maybe it'll be in the future TMA game, idk.
