Scheduled for March 10, 2024, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, the 96th Academy Awards ceremony, hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, will recognize outstanding achievements in film from the year 2023.
ABC will broadcast the upcoming ceremony and the television host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel is set to host the event for the fourth time, having previously hosted the 2017, 2018, and 2023 ceremonies.
On January 23, 2024, the nominations were revealed, with "Oppenheimer" securing the lead with 13 nominations. Following closely were "Poor Things" and "Killers of the Flower Moon" with 11 and 10 nominations, respectively.
