Pokemon Sun & Moon were the first Pokemon video games I finally bought. I'd wanted a Gameboy for ages just for Pokemon, but it wasn't until I got a 3DS that I finally satisfied my childhood dream. Litten was my very first starter!
Rain… You‘ve got to play BW2! Especially if you rank BW1 at S-Tier! They are (imo) the absolute pinnacle of mainline Pokémon games in terms of artstyle, story, gameplay and variety of different Mons.

This is indeed factual! I personally put all of Gen 5 and Legends Arceus as peak Pokémon in my opinion, but anyone who hasn’t played gen 5 should do it as soon as possible 😁

I can’t remember the last time I played a Pokémon game… I lost that world! Though I loved it a lot. I know on the GBA my last game was Sapphire and when I started it was either blue or red but enjoyed the surfing Pikachu(Yellow version). 😅 - Watching this just makes me miss the past when I was stuck to the GB!! I love that you put SV in S tier! Its a super fun game and hopefully QOL updates will make it a game that people will appreciate. Thanks for another video Rainessa. I love that you're always finding new things to do in ASMR videos. As somebody who hasn't followed Pokemon since gen1, I have to say Squirtle was my guy. Well, actually, Blastoise, but you know. By the way has anybody here ever played Nexomon? There's two games (so far), on pretty much every console platform I believe. They are REALLY good games if you like Pokemon. Also probably the funniest video games I've played in a long time.

I’m trying so hard to not get cheesed because I know we all have our own opinions, but the Dragon tier list part of the video broke me Rain 😅 Dragon is my favourite type so I have many opinions on all Dragon types, but seeing ya toss Zygarde (Black & green snake) & his other forms (10% form is a dog and 100% form is the megazord) in “not a dragon” hurt, and Regidrago also getting thrown in their especially broke me cuz he’s literally made of pure dragon energy that had been crystallized! Sorry if this comes off as “angry commenter” but I’m very passionate about Pokémon so I tend to be a bit intense when talking about it 😅 Great video and I hope you keep up the awesome content!
This was fun, my favorite game is Ruby/Sapphire and the dragons in the game are super cool too. Flygon with it's diving goggles, the fierce Salamence, the mythical Latios/Latias and Rayquaza are all some of my favorite pokemon designs.
Don't know if you've heard of randomizers, but playing pokemon with random encounters and trainers having random pokemon is a game changer. doing it with as a nuzlock where you can actually lose is another level. Makes a kids game fun as an adult especially when you dont have to wait til the end of the game to get to the cool pokemon.
Can't go wrong about the Pokémon contents & the typing sounds is amazing, so glad that you upload about ranking the Pokémon games, Pokémon red & blue versions are my first 2 games & it's very nostalgic, big hugs for you 🤗🤗🤗 tysm for your upload 😊❤ ps my favorite Pokémon starters are Bulbasaur, Charmander & Squirtle (the first ones)

Fun lists! I think I'm on the same page as you ranking wise for starters besides being a big Tepig fan (love his strongman final evo) and not really liking spaghetti cat.
I always love seeing others tier lists it's fun! My number one favorite pokémon is the Snivy Evolution Line (I usually rank the entire line as one). Seeing it in C was pretty saddening but I know everyone has their opinions. It did make me feel a bit more relieved that the BW games ranked S tier while Reshiram & Zekrom also did too! Even though they were mostly ranked on how much they looked like a dragon. Not sure if it's still the same rank with how appealing the pokémon itself is overall. Definitely would love to see more pokémon tier lists to see how different everyones tastes are! 🐧🐄
oh no, just saw that you havn't played emerald, platinum or B/W2. If you have the the i can only recommand these 3 games, because they are taking the good parts of their previous editions and taking it to another level. Especially B/W2 is really underrated :D
The vid is 5 months old, but as someone who started with red and came back to the franchise after pretty much dropping from pokemon after gen 3.. play legends arceus if you havent yet. If you like the gamecube games, you'll love this one. 11/10 imho. Its basically what you pretended what was going on, but its actually happening now.
YOU NEED to play legends arceus it rly changes up the pokemon formula and was a lot better than scarlet and violet imo. It also looked better and ran a lot smoother.
I find it so interesting that three of the games that I would consider the best iterations/continuations, being Emerald, Platinum, and B/W 2, are ones that you haven't had the opportunity to play! I totally recommend them if you want some full nostalgia-mode! The additions they place on the base Gen stories are awesome!
You have such a similar taste to me with starters and mainline series game the only real difference with starters for is that I would have treeko in S tier haha! A Legends Arceus ASMR playthrough would be pretty relaxing. If you haven't already, I think you'd find it a pleasant and comfy experience. Also, Black/White 2 is my favorite game. The art style, story, Pokemon roster, and music, are top tier. Highly recommend. Totodile is my favorite starter. Though Oshawott is slowly taking the spot. Bug and Water are my favorite Types. Though Steel, Ice, Dark, and Poison, are more than capable of taking over.

Froakie is my favorite starter and Sprigatito is probably the next one because I love both of their final evolutions, Greninja being my all time favorite pokemon. Scarlet Violet is the best pokemon experience there is even with its flaws, the music, the characters, the pokemon, and the story were amazing. I love pokemon xy even if the game is not praised by a lot of people but I really love that game but SV is still my favorite. I love megas as well due to the anime and due to me loving pokemon xy. My favorite dragon type pokemon is Goodra and as for legendary dragon type I think I like Latias a bit more than Rayquaza. Talonflame is my favorite fire type but all the fire type starters are pretty cool too.
The game is cool but it is shameful , that’s maybe the « worst » technical game I’ve played in my life , the game is like a ps2 game in 2022 , but beside that , the game is cool lorewise

The best way to prevent the tiers becoming muddled is to limit them, so only 1 s tier, 2 A tiers, 3 B tiers or however you want to split it. Makes it a hell of a lot harder to choose though. It's like your asking me to choose a favourite child, all my starters are special to me 😂
Chikorita is my favourite 1st stage starter. Hate it's evolutions though. I just like it because of the anime, I am well aware on how lacking she is gameplay wise. Sceptile is my favourite despite the fact it's not all that good.
I don’t think I can respect every game take(which is fine), but the one thing I can is giving Scarlet and Violet S tier. Being the “Breath of the Wild” for the Pokémon franchise(minus graphics), it is a way of bringing life back to the series. Glad u like it Rain!
One thing I’ve learned about Rainessa today is she doesn’t know about Ultra Beasts 😆❤️ They’re from Ultra Sun & Moon and really unique but also bizarre looking so it’s understandable where you placed them in the tier list 😂 I recommend checking the rest of them out though because some of them have really unique and creative designs you might like 😁

You should 100% play platinum to see the difference in Diamond/Pearl and their remakes. It has so much more content, replay ability, and was a really big improvement from the others. More Pokémon, bigger Pokédex, a newish story.
You should definitely play legends arceus it’s one of the most fun Pokémon games I’ve ever played personally. Also, Chimchar in c tier 😳 it’s my personal favourite lmao.
