Kevin, you continue to present very helpful videos. Thank you for your dedication to helping us less experienced users find and understand useable ideas. And your approach is so friendly and clear with no wasted time.
You are the BEST Kevin Stratvert and apart from your knowledge, the way in which you make it sound so simple, I admire your great sense of humour. Man, you have not only won the brain but the heart as well. May the force be with you.
Thanks for this Kevin! I can now let go of the subscription I have for Adobe Acrobat DC Pro and save tons with the Libre Office Draw. I immediately subscribed to your channel as you teach really well and make things so simple. I now look forward to watching more of your videos. Instant fan!
All of your lessons are fantastic. This one was worth it for the "consolidate text" example. A big thank you for all the time that you've saved me floundering around in various applications.
I have learn a very interesting PDF file from Kevin. You look great with a smile in explaining . I have to go step by step and try it . Kevin thank you so much, I love your smile.
I was wondering if scanned documents can be edited and just then you explained how it can be done! Watching your videos is always a great learning experience. Thanks for this tutorial!
My scanned document also does not work. There is something missing from your explanation. When I take a document that I’ve scanned to an image file and use your method of editing it by dragging the image off the top and to the side as you do, there is no text under the image that I can edit. What’s missing?
OMG THANK YOU! Having switched from Mac a year ago you don't have the slightest idea how much i miss Preview, it managed all aspects of PDFs. Not a whole lot of editing but merging, cutting and moving pages around is dead simple and included with the OS. I was thinking to get a Acrobat pro DC subscription but I just can't be asked. THANK YOU!
When you moved the scanned pdf file, there was another file under it and you could edit the text. But when I move an image pdf the whole image moves and no underlying editable image
I have always wondered if the PDF format is proprietary whose IP is owned by Adobe. There are many third-party PDF viewing and editing programs out there including paid ones. Do they have to pay Adobe for using PDF?
Thank you so much for this video!! 🙏🏻💜 It helped me a lot, I was searching for a way to adjust the language on my cross stitch PDF pattern, which I can't do in the program itself.. 😃
This is so great! Good alternative for pdf files editor, than buying a crack adobe acrobat online. Thanks Kevin, you are really a big help to others. You present all your videos loud and clear, easy to understand especially for newbies. Thanks a lot man... 😉
Kevin...thank you for your exceptionally clear description of LO Draw...it has helped my search for an alternative pdf editor... your description of Draw has almost persuaded me to ditch Adobe Acrobat Editor...However a question when I directly open an Adobe PDF in LO Draw can I set it to show layers contained in the original Adobe PDF...I have opened such a pdf in Draw but I cannot find the layers.
I already had LibreOffice but I was searching for acrobat dc pro alternatives, I didn't know, what I was searching for is already I have. Thanks for the Guide, Kevin : )
Hi Kevin, When I work with a scanned pdf document (like you showed with the letter from youtube), when I click and move the content aside nothing is left on the underlying document. This is online what you showed where the text is left over below for us to edit. How to fix this?
Great video Kevin, really helpful. In your vid you have a scanned pdf of a letter, which you move aside as an image and the text is below. I tried this and didn't have any text. Is there a type of image to pdf scanning that creates the underlying text data?
Thank you! Love your classes. I downloaded the Libreoffice for the PDF editor. The problem is my PDF file contains Chinese characters. Once I open the file, those characters are totally messed up. I wonder if you can help on this. Thanks a lot!
Thank you so much, i am a student in Malaysia, my university and part-time job all apply with pdf file, i was so fraustrated, then your video appear and save my day, aprreciate and wish you able to achieve your dream asap~~
Thanks Kevin, I am going to try this one. I've been using Sedja by your suggestion also (and I ended buying the paying version) with some limitations. SO happy new and most important FREE software come out and then we have the option to choose what is better for us. Before we had just 1 company and it was so expensive. Appreciate your videos which are clear, direct to the point, and very educational..... Just a quick question between you and me: Does that Cookie company exists? 😎😁
Man, I love you. You saved my day. That's a fantastic PDF Editor. I bet it's much better than other paid PDF Editors. I've just subscribed to your channel. Greetings from Brazil!
Was using Ashampoo, which was very limited, could not even insert a signature or graphic, don't know about their latest but they now so paranoid even their free SW keeps checking license regularly, a nuisance. came across you and tried your libre and must tell all it is fantastic. Thanks for that. Only down is cannot save a open modded pdf, Need to export.
🥳 Thankyou! I been lookiing for something that isn't online and doesnt look from 2000, you helped me a lot!! You are the only person on youtube i found that spekas about Libre Office 🥳 I checked your content and your videos are so good! New suscriber!
WTH? I have been using Libre Office for years, and I didn't know any of this. Oh shack, I had always wondering if I could do that. Thanks to you Kevin, I know it now. Let me know if creating fillable pdf form, is something we can do with Libre Office. I hope it is possible. However, Thanks again for this wonderful lesson bro. You made my day
Kevin you’re the best cookie. 😌 I didn’t know LibreOffice Draw can do so much. I needed a pdf editor and although you’re in the cookie-baking business, you have helped a lot.
