Brings back memories of being an international postgrad student at the nearby UNSW Kensington campus 20 years ago. Had some great fun at Coogee - the walks, swim and of course pubs & clubs.☺❤
Great walking tour to explore the beautiful beach in Australia, spectacular view, amazing footage !watching from USA,warm greeting and thanks for sharing.
A beautifully shot clip. I've often thought Coogee is nicer and more interesting than Bondi, but being a bit further from the inner city and not having quite the same sweep of shore, it doesn't attract as much tourist attention. As someone else said in these comments it looks like a dream; you can feel the warmth, the insouciant people, the sweet sea breeze and the sounds of the ocean. But there is something else. It also has glimpses of what Melburnians often criticise about Sydney. The landscape is breath taking, but somehow also just a bit superficial. The people look 'beautiful', but is it more than skin-deep? Is it a celebration of 'la joie de vivre', or maybe just Western SydneyAirport now being constructed) West, away from beaches, the harbour views, and the old-money suburbs; yet it is often the real powerhouse of the place. And it has its own persona of hard work, authenticity, family fun, back yards, creeks and mountains, the five acre frontier, learning to live well among a vast number of cultures, barbecues in the park, and hanging out in the mall. But that's harder to capture on film. So how will a busy 'girl next door' find a place of equal repute with her admired elder sisters?
Coogee is beautiful, i accidentaly found it when i was researching for my holidays a few yrs ago and i keep going back... i very highly reccommend it to everybody, its got everything you need right on your door step. Im hoping to go back for xmas 2022 and bring in 2023 at the harbour..... its just fantastic and i love it 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🐨🦘🪃✈❤❤❤
