Some people believe to give this man any honors take away from WHITNEY. It does not. WHITNEY is WHITNEY but this man has a higher vocal range than she did and that is the truth. He slayed that song and deserves to independently be given the credit for a Beautifully done version of this song. He needs to get into a studio, be signed to a major label and produce some wonderful music. We are lacking that right now. There are very few balladeers out here at the moment!!! Right Minnie Ripperton the foremother of highest octave known among singers. Then came Mariah. This guy will be the forefather among men, which is quite an accomplishment for a man. Great singer. And he sang the song very well nothing can be taken away from him. But this also shows that technical aspects of a voice, such as whistle register, are components of singing. How a singer brings that together makes all the difference. I don’t believe Whitney could sing in whistle register and yet I doubt anyone would say she was missing something in her voice or her signing because she didn’t. There is something about her voice that just cannot be touched or explained.

As much as I love Nippy there will never be another but he’s one of the very few that had me in my feelings while they sing the Queen’s songs. He did our Queen proud and homie got some pipes
