I know someday you’ll have a beautiful life, I know you’ll be a star, in somebody’s else’s sky, but why, why, why can’t it be, can’t it be in mine. That is pure poetry!
There's no way to hear this song now and not see this video in my head. There are two groups of people in this world. Those who have ridden the Pearl Jam Black unplugged MTV roller coaster and those who haven't. Once you have your life will never be the same.
Its amazing how he starts the song out looking so calm and by the end of the song he just looks totally different. This will always be one of my faves!! ✌❤
One of my goals in life is to keep watching reactions vids to this song, no matter what every time it hits the same or even more than the 1st time, Eddie's pain is shared by all who have endured unrequited love.
Eddie Vedder is a LEGEND, as is Pearl Jam. Eddie is such a wonderful person and humanitarian. You should watch his backstory. First time watching and I subscribed right away.
Eddie Vedder Makes me cry every time this is live no tricks no auto tune no reverb pure talent blows my mind suggestion Chris cornell fell on black days Sirius xm best performance of his I've ever seen 🖤🖤🖤
I came for Black, Pearl Jam; I stayed for your reaction; I subscribed cause they were both so good!! Please continue down the 90's Grunge rabbit hole; you just got started!!
This song should come with a warning. I remember when it first came out, and it gets better everytime I listen to it. But if your not ready for it, it can get through your defense's, and really fuck you up.
Now that you've seen Pearl jam for the first time, tomorrow you should react to seeing the moon for the first time. I'm sure you probably haven't seen the Moon yet too.
Hello my friend. I totally understand you but what we know is a drop and what we don't know is an ocean. I am Kurdish and I was born and raised in Iran. There are a lot of music bands that I don't know but I am always open to new opportunities to know as much as I can. Now I am honored to know them and I enjoy their performances. All the best
Feel sorry for you dude. Its a lyrically brilliant song, performed with feeling by a band that gave you their heart and soul on stage. The balance between Eddie's angst and the bands repeated melodies are almost like real life, they're musically saying we're here for you Eddie. Its a live masterpiece that I remember hearing back in the 90's, back then and even now immediately thinking of the girls I'd thought I'd love forever. Sometimes, trying to comment on a classic is pointless. If you feel the song you understand and if not you never will. Words are irrelevant. Props though for immediately understanding you feel this rather than listen to it.
