We visited in July 2022.. And during that time covid was just over so it was not that crowded.. However i heard last year it was very crowded during peak summers.. Nice! Isn't Grindewald 1st also the first stop to get to Junfro -top of Europe via tiger express? We are headin there next month, but dind't realize Grindewald station had so many stairs to get to the gondolas. Is there elevators for elders or those with disabilities?
Hello, I think you are confused with Grindelwald & Grindelwald First . Grindelwald First & Jungfraujoch - top of europe are two different mountains & you can't travel from First to Jungfraujoch directly ..however you can travel from Grindelwald terminal to Eiger glaciers station via eiger express & then to Jungfraujoch via railways. Both has very different experience and cannot be compared.. However if you are planning to visit mt Titlis or matterhorn glacier paradise then you can easily skip Jungfraujoch as these 3 have some what similar experience.. Hope that helps
