If we're planning to marry in the Philippines, we read that my German fiancee has to stay in the country for some time. Would you know how long he has to stay for the wedding + submitting requirements? And if it's possible he has to stay for only less than a month because his work won't allow for him to stay longer.

The requirements are actually mentioned in this video already. The procedure for civil wedding and ceremonial is the same. Except you will need to book an appointment at the civil court instead of a church/venue. You will need to make an appointment at your local civil registry/city hall because you'll have to get married in the presence of the mayor. (But these things may have changed by now. My problema kasi ako Sir, kasi yung dalang apelyido namin ng mga siblings ko ay sa mama ko kasi that time hindi pa pweding dalhin ang apelyido ng papa ko kasi hindi pa sila kasal. Hello sir, may I asking po some question? Me and my fiancee(German citizen) is planning to get married to Phil's this end of this year. We already on going MV(marriage visa). However will take a long time to get done everything. Now we plan to get married here in Phil's. We ask standesamt if he can get the Certificate of no impediment and he told ask yes cause we already done the checking of docs which we undergo the MV. After the standesamt give us a Certificate of no impediment. And submit to German embassy in manila. German embassy will ask any additional requirements? And they will ask more requirements from me (Filipina citizen) upon going to embassy?.My fiancee have a limited holiday so I need to gather everything upon his arrival if possible. Oder braucht es da noch eine Übersetzung eines professionellen Übersetzers wie für die Dokumente für das Ehefähigkeitszeugnis? Würde ja keinen Sinn machen. Dann die Authentication? Muss das wieder über Notar und Landgericht laufen (Apostille) und dann noch zum Konsulat der Philippinen zur Anerkennung geschickt werden? Oh Herr erspare mir das, in Frankfurt ist nicht gerade die geistige Kompetenz anzutreffen 😐 Die Prüfung der philippinischen Dokumente gerade überstanden, und nun kommt die nächste Konfrontation mit ungeliebten Behörden.

Aber ich würde bei der deutschen Botschaft zu der Ihr hingehen werdet nochmal anfragen ob eine professionelle Übersetzung mit Überbeglaubigung benötigt wird. Ich drücke euch die Daumen, dass die internationale aussreicht. Was die Authentication angeht musste ich als deutsche Seite das nicht machen. Meine philippinsiche Frau musste für Ihre Dokumente ihre Geburtsurkunde und CENOMAR übersetzen lassen und soweit ich mich erinnern kann war die Übersetzerin gleich auf dem Level eines Notars. Dann musste sie nur noch ihre Dokumente von der deutschen Botschaft authentifizieren lassen. Wenn eine Sterbeurkunde bzw. Scheidungsurkunde authentifiziert werden soll muss diese überbeglaubigt werden soweit ich es verstanden habe - war für uns aber nicht relevant. -- ich bin mir gerade nicht sicher in welchem Schritt ihr euch befindet 😅 aber nachdem bei uns die Überprüfung vollendet war, habe ich als deutscher die wie im Video erwähnten Papiere für mich besorgt und bin dann auf die Philippinen. Sprich ich habe meine Consular Dingens Papiere (😅) gar nicht über Post sondern persönlich auf den Philippinen beantragt und abgeholt - über Post von DE nach PH und dann wieder zurück braucht viel länger. Noch eine Frage: Reicht beim Führungszeugnis die Überbeglaubigung vom Bundesamt für Justiz, oder muss das auch noch vom philippinischen Konsulat authentifiziert werden? Ich habe knapp 6 Wochen bis zum Abflug, mir läuft die Zeit davon :/
Bei mit hat die Internationale Version vom Bundesamt für Justiz gereicht. Wichtig ist, dass es auf English/internationaler Form ist. Nur deutsch allein reicht nicht aus. Ich hoffe das hilft! Viel Erfolg euch 😊
Ich habe noch ein internationales von letztem Jahr, und vorletzte Woche ein neues und auch überbeglaubigtes angefordert, mit r macht mehr Sorgen, dass ich noch beim Regierungspräsidium die Überbeglaubigung für meine internationale Geburtsurkunde brauche, und angeblich kann das 6 Wochen dauern, und dafür reicht die Zeit nicht, weil das ganze muss noch zum philippinischen Konsulat zur Authentifizierung. If your fiancé is not a Filipino citizen, not a former Filipino citizen nor a child of Filipino citizens. And is a GERMAN CITIZEN then YES, your fiance will need to apply for a visa. Germans only have 30-days visa free entry. For the German side just have them check on Auswärtiges Amt online 😉
