Deban is the only person whose videos I can watch from beginning to end. They are incredibly rich in terms of information and assessment. Also, a shout-out to Deban for mentioning Sophie. Rest in peace, Angel.
He didnt seem to suffer really.. Deban loved like 3 songs or something out of 8 and found others interesting.. ofcause there gotta be some which you dont like as much but he seemed mostly positive.. And the critic towards some of the songs are fair enough not that its bad songs but some of the critics are fair enough although i like some of the songs i get the point.. Deban are just pretty clear in his tone and speak his thoughts directly.. i've seen Deban suffer way more the past 2 maybe even 3 years of DMGP..
by far Aura Dione 🧡💛💚💙❤- this song is so catchy and got those feelgood lyrics we need in this time - when the whole world goes down the river.... all the other songs sounds like someone else.... except Aura sounds like herself... she is so recognizable and 3 No 1 songs..... and Top 3 songs in Austria, Germany , Switzerland and Denmark show that there s an international market for her unique sound, voice... sometimes yoddeling... No 2 Saba - but this song remnds me a bit of Loreen... No 3...Chuchu
Aura Dione seemed to be a bit silly and dated for the first time but now it really stucked on repeat to me, Aura is very gentle soul and the song full of light and hope, we neeg something like that at Eurovision, it's simple but not primitive
I was on the fence about whether to watch DMGP, I hadn’t heard any of the songs and from these small snippets I don’t think I’ll bother 😬 Nothing bad here! but nothing interesting either and there is a lot of other selection shows on the 17th!
Dansk Melodi Grand Prix may not bring the winner of Eurovision this year, but if you take the four best songs, it's definitely one of the strongest national selections of 2024. The problem is: That doesn't mean Denmark will qualify in Malmö, because there isn't one clear stand-out entry in there. The song that has most elements that will catch peoples attention is Mirrorball Of Hope. So I kind of think Denmark should choose this, especially if Aura succeeds in posing as a mermaid. I'm not the biggest Aura fan, but if you look at things from a narrow Eurovision perspective, you can sometimes be hoping for a song that isn't your personal favourite. (The most significant example of this is Ireland - the Irish picked the "right" winner this year, but personally I regard the song as the worst song I've ever listened to from a national selection.) The two Danish songs I like to listen to the most are RoseeLu's and Basim's. SABA's song is too "neutral" for my liking, and it's also a weakness in my book that it's written by Swedes. Some Eurovision fans like UBLU, but I'm not sure that song will sound well on stage (and Denmark hasn't been too lucky with bands throughout the years). By the way, ublu is a real Danish word, meaning "shameless". It's a brilliant band name actually because it's an unusual word and looks like an abbreviation.
@@TwoRedPassportsbecause you want it to be.. if you was open minded then its actually not that bad or weak a selection as people make it out to be.. Some are pretty good others are okay You guys judge before watching the show.. opinions shift on some songs when you see them.. Absolutely not one of the weakest NF.. maybe not the strongest either but it got its songs
Deban, you are very sweet, but far to kind towards Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. I think DR should loosen its grip on the show. DR's team no longer has the creative drive, the visions and the overall capacity to develop a new identity and profile for DMGP. DMGP is out of touch with Eurovision, it's stuck in the past, and whatever developments there have been have been halfhearted and insufficient. A new broadcaster should take over. We need radical changes now, a small revolution, or Denmark might as well leave Eurovision. Just my humble opinion.
Watch his videos the past 2 or 3 years.. absolutely not kind at all towards those.. for good reasons.. this year is better for sure and i see him give critic to some of the songs while liking others and still have critic for some of those he like.. I find the pro's and con's very fair to be honest
This year’s DMGP selections are not as strong nor as interesting as last year. SABA is probably the best choice but qualification for the final is borderline based on studio-only reaction. I really hope SABA has strong stage presence…her interviews on Wiwibloggs do not give me comfort that she really understands her role as a performer (command attention and entertain).
Not the best preselections, what shouldn't be a surprise - it's Denmark after all (sorry?). The best definitely is the one from Ublu, with Zoom Zoom chasing it close at the 2nd spot for me!
