In Eritrea, there is no such thing sharing a bill or bus fare.. 2nd, if you are a guest, no matter your origin, any one that hosts you, takes the responsibility of your stay. 3rd, after sharing your names and you start getting to know eachother, you are FRIENDS. Not acting as such is very wierd. So my Ugandan brother, what you have experienced is just the tip of the ice berg or spoon from the sea of Eritrean culture and hospitality. If you r emotional that z youth treated you this way, you would cry all day if you had seen how the elders treat guests.
