What are you going to be doing in Dublin just wondering from Ruairi also big fan of your videos and can I please get a shootout in your Dublin videos please and thank you
As a Scotsman living in Madrid fell in love with Atletico. My first football game was at the Bernabéu (which I lived within a stone's throw) and I thought it was rubbish. The next game was at the Calderon and I was hooked! Saw some special games there and I was gutted when they moved stadium. I was so nervous the atmosphere would change and I loved the old neighbourhood and stadium but the Wanda is a great stadium. I don't think there are many teams that have moved stadiums as smoothly as Atleti have whilst keeping the passion alive. Unfortunately I had to move out of Madrid last year and I miss going to the games so much, plus I had never seen them win la liga but luckily I moved to Valladolid which is where we won la liga last year! It was mental! Aupa Atelti!
Saw Atléti beat Valencia 3-0 at Estadio Vicente Calderón in March 2017. Fabulous experience. Los Colchoneros are for true football fans. Your Spanish fan is right in saying Real has tourists. Would love to watch a match at Wanda Metropolitano. Visited the outside of the stadium shortly before it opened.

If you come to Metropolitano, I recommend you yo get the tickets at "Fondo Sur", you'll experience the atmosphere at its core
@@davidlopezcea1320 So. Every Time Real Madrid loses a match, the Tourist become Barca fans? Madrid lost against Villareal, so i guess this week they will support Barcelona, until they lose, and Madrid wins again.
Most beautiful stadium i've ever been in. The loudest too. Shame Diego Costa knocked us out the Europa semi final. great vlog man, you're smashing it. Well done on 100k subs too.
Nope. Is Wanda Metropolitano. The "Wanda" is temporary but the "Metropolitano" stays always. That's why the metro station is called "Estadio Metropolitano".
At season 80-81 Atlético suffered some strange mistakes from referees. Before the derby in Bernabeu, Atlético´s President was afraid of referee favors to real, so he decided to invite all supporters to eat tortilla de patatas over Calderón Stadium grass, instead of going to real stadium. And so they did it. Great video, congratulations.
Honest mate unreal everything you do with this channel. Saw Atleti twice in recent years against Liverpool. However, this channel gives us an insight into different culture of football etc. love it mate 🔴❤️
Great vlog Sam 👍🏻. Real Madrid can’t even turnout 300 fans in their local Derby, in their own city! Their away support always has and always will be pathetic, for a club of their size it makes no sense. Glad Atletico won.
20:40 You absolutely are an honorary Scotsman mate, this was a really fun video in its own right, but your coverage of the game in Scotland has been excellent and long may it continue!
Hi from Chile 🇨🇱. I love your videos of Scotish Football. Scotland has some of the most historic football clubs un the world and beautiful stadiums, it's amazing.
@@muhaisfromqueens Of course, it was just an irony on the part of the Spanish sports press that only manipulates and the Barça/Madrid fans who always try to belittle. Atlético's fans are the best in Spain in throughout its history and top 3 of the best in the world 🔴⚪
@@Z4_Y_DC i think, Barca is weaker than Atletico Madrid. You should forget the memories related to Messi’s period when Barca was so strong. Right now Atletico can beat the shit outta this club.
@@muhaisfromqueens Really, the best Spanish team is Atletico de Madrid for the simple reason that everything they obtained was without any arbitration controversy or extra-sports controversy. You already know that the other two teams are dedicated to other things with the thought that Atletico is never present because of the manipulative press and the Barca/Madrid fans, as I previously told you 🤷♂
Wow, that’s a great occasion to see, it’s a beautiful arena, I watched the game, wasn’t a classic, but that’s not too important, fantastic to see you make it there my friend, well done in getting into that position, onwards and upwards, Sam !
I mean Wanda Metropolitano is not a bad a stadium but atlético’s real home will always be Vicente Calderón, and our real badge will always be the old one and not this new logo
Hi Sam, just to tell you that you can use bon dia if you are in Andalucia where I live. in northern Spain especially in Madrid you would use buenos dias because bon dia is considered slang up north. great vid but not the atmosphere of Ibrox the other night, can't believe the price of that ticket.
Most Ivhave ever paid for any ticket was £80 myself That was for Scotland VS The All Blacks the point being it was The All Blacks so you expect it to be expensive.
Another great video. Another red hot derby for you to check off your list. 180 euro for a ticket! That's the last time I complain about ticket prices in Scotland! 😀
It cracks me up when people "can't believe the cost of the ticket" for euro football matches.....people be dropping dead if they saw what us poor americans pay to go to a big game at our sports big games lol
@@docco007 Aye a dae. Seville ground looks like a death trap. I don't fancy falling heid first from the terraces if we score like that mad raging Tim did in 1999 at the piggery. However, if we win it'll forever tarnish memories of 2003 for them and they'll have to change the name of their Seville suite so pros and cons...
Hiya Steven, you need to subscribe to the Toon Review, everything Paul and guests talk about is Newcastle United, they have live streams and recorded things its really good content, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England
The Athletico fan talking about the game against Celtic was in 1974 and the Athletico team were an absolute disgrace. Here is some footage from the match and some of the old players recollection of the events. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CpxoTiKkvw8.html
Dirty bastards,I remember watching this a while ago, they’ve not changed much.Wee rats where at it against Man City aswell, would love to see them try it in Glasgow.👊🏻
Should go see a Rayo game! Amazing fans and culture! It’s the real people club of Madrid… they also do some amazing displays behind the goal… Google them some are funny! Good content as always!
jajaja no me jodas. El Rayo es el equipo de un barrio muy concreto de Madrid, Vallecas, pero fuera de Vallecas no tiene prácticamente gente que lo siga. Aún así, total respeto para el Rayo Vallecano y su gente.
Great vid, I honestly wasn't expecting the ground to look so well, what a super stadium. I was a bit confused about spaces within the top tier of the stand on the other side, smaller on the outside to become enormous in the middle? though probably for a construction reason? but yeah great stadium. Footy adventures tour continental :)
It is because the upper section of this stand was already built before the rest of the stadium. It was a small olympic stand before Atlético bought it and builr a stadium around it
Great explanation. Just to clarify, original stadium just have one section (from bottom to upper section). Original name of the stadium was La Peineta because of the iconic-weird shape of the section (not easy to translate, some sort of a comb for flamenco dresses)
After watching you video I had to go, seeing it tomorrow 18th September. Did you mix with the fan prior to the game, if so were do you go as it's a 8pm ko ! Thanks Nic
No it’s not has football commentators and pundits say the north-west Derby in England is the biggest in the world for not only the fixture but the fierce rivalry and that’s the Man Utd v Liverpool matches
you're right , where were the Real fans ? away fans often dont travel in numbers in Spain, unlike other European countries. i have been at Real Madrid and seen only 50 / 60 away fans for a la Liga match. Whilst i have been to tier 5 in England and still seen big away followings.
@@littlebearsparty4323 I understand some country’s are big so not all fans can do the travel away but for a local derby and real being a big club I expected them to be bouncing in there or is it there league season is over so they just don’t care now
Should do Eibar final day if automatic promotion is on the line or both legs of the playoff final of Real Oviedo are involved. Perhaps a bit of Calcio as well, not any of the big clubs that embarrass Italy in Europe but teams like Sassuolo and Udinese.
Loving the vids, can you do any info videos on where you get game tickets from? I'd love to go to some games in spain/italy/germany but not a clue where to start looking for tickets.
