Palma, capital of the Spanish island of Mallorca, is a beautiful tourist city located in the western Mediterranean Sea. The immense Cathedral of Santa María, a Gothic monument that began to be built in the 13th century, dominates the skyline of the Bay of Palma. Palma, the economic and cultural center of Mallorca, is a wonderful base from which to explore the many golden and white beaches of the island. The walled old town of Palma is an ancient Arab kasbah, a captivating labyrinth of narrow streets perfect for exploring on foot. Take the Soller train, which crosses a beautiful landscape along the 27 km of its route; visit the 14th-century Bellver Castle and the contemporary art museum, and don't miss the nightlife. Palma, centro económico y cultural de Mallorca, es una base maravillosa desde la que explorar las numerosas playas doradas y blancas de la isla. El casco viejo amurallado de Palma es una antigua kasba árabe, un cautivador laberinto de callejuelas perfecto para explorarlo a pie. Toma el tren de Soller, que atraviesa un bellísimo paisaje a lo largo de los 27 km de su recorrido; visita el Castillo de Bellver del siglo XIV y el museo de arte contemporáneo, y no te pierdas la vida nocturna.
