Last but not least, in my opinion, Vietnam volleyball fans mustn't compare the Vietnamese team and devaluate other teams in SEA. We always try our best and try our best, win or lose is an opportunity for us to learn and grow further. We could have made it to this level by now, or even better. The 10 year-long hiatus from international competition that began in 2005 is a reflection of how much damage politics can ruin the potential of Filipino athletes to be at par with world standards. I'm not keeping my hopes up until Tats Suzara and his minions will find the decency to step down and give way to new breed of stakeholders who have nothing but good intentions for our amazing volleyball superstars.
Confidence is always good, VN fans just love doing more on talking Thailand team down that Thailand paid their ways to VNL. That was the meanest and unkind to talk about the other. Feeling the reality after this match is a good learning for VN fans.
