It does my heart good to see such a fine house, and farm, fall into exactly the right hands to do it justice. Many congratulations on your new home, Marie-Anne. It is beautiful. :)
Your new home is AMAZING! The country side is so beautiful. You have your work cut out for you...but what a great find. I love it! May it be full of happiness and joy.
Thank you Marie-Anne for the tour of your new home it's full of character I can see you have a lot of work to do will look forward to your progress and transformation. Coco and Peanut certainly were making themselves at home, is it far from where you lived before? The countryside will look even better come springtime. Hugs from Sydney Australia.xx
Such a great house! Obviously you have work to do but it will definitely be worth it! I’m sure a future tour is ahead. Love the view from the bedroom windows. My son spent time in France twice. The first time he was in Brest which I believe is not too far from the English Channel. The second time he was in Strausbourg. Curious if you are in the vicinity of either location. Enjoy your new home!
A beautiful place, such history, love history, with your style the house and grounds with be even more beautiful. I’m in love and it’s not my house. 💜🌟🍒
Thank you so much for including us vicariously! What a task but it will be fun to see the progress. We would like a little background...how did you come to do this?
I’m so happy for you. Such a beautiful house full of so much history. And the grounds and countryside are gorgeous. Oh, to wake up to such beautiful views every day is a dream for me. I can’t wait to see it in the spring and summer. I’ll be watching all your videos as you make the house your home 😀
This is so beyond exciting, a stunning 300+ year old house! 😍 which dates back to the Revolution and even has the defaced coats of arms, what a treat that you showed this to us! 💖 Beautiful masonry work and all the details like the bakery and the stables which bred prized horses, and this being in Normandy who knows maybe some of those horses were Selle Français and wound up in the Cadre Noir!... I'm rambling now but historical places like this make one dream. Happy 2022 and may you be very happy in this magnificent home!
Congratulations on your beautiful historical gem. I look forward to seeing the restoration process. I think the dogs will love living in the countryside with all that space and freedom to adventure around. ❤️🐶🐶
Lovely house. That stone staircase is amazing. Just imagine how many people (and who) have used if over the 300 years ! Fabulous fireplaces too. Congratulations and enjoy your new home... can't wait to see the renovations.
Wow, Marie-Anne! What a fabulous home, country estate! It touches my heart! I think it is wonderful how you want to give life back to the farm! You inspire me! Much love to you in your grande home!
Wow, what a beautiful house. I’m sure you will enjoy your project home. My ‘petite maison’ in Normandy is over 250 years old and I always describe it as perfectly imperfect. Your setting is stunning, I’m looking forward to following your house journey xx
Such a beautiful setting and the house is stunning! You are going to have so much fun restoring and decorating. The house has fantastic bones! Congratulations!!
oh, this house looks AMAZING!!! what an imposant property, and I absolutely LOVE the windows and the fireplace! a truly beautiful home in gorgeous surroundings! Happy New Year, Marie- Anne, and I wish you all the best luck in this beautiful home!
I love it!! It has so much character and those fireplaces! 😍 The land outside seems so serene and fresh. I love the history. Such an exciting adventure and change. Your adorable dogs will live a happy life there. Thank you for taking us along on your tour, I can’t wait to see the transformation!
Thank you for showing us your WONDERFUL new (300year old ) farm! I absolutely love it. In the year 2000 when my son was in his final high school year, he spent 6 weeks in a French farm, with a young man who had stayed with us for 6 weeks and had come to school here! My so loved everything French.. The farm belonged to a dentist who also had a winery on the land, they also went hunting! The young man’s name was Adrian. Please show us again as you clean and paint your new home, it’s marvellous!
This is what I love so much about France (and all of Europe). It is living history. The “modern” items look so out of place. Your farmhouse and farm are absolutely gorgeous.
Congratulations on your new home! It looks like something from a historical romance novel. I can’t wait to see your personal touches to the house. Are you planning on getting some horses? Your dogs are too cute. I imagine you’ll also start a beautiful garden, since French people value fresh wholesome food. I look forward to your future videos!
I’m amazed at this property where you and your family will enjoy this farm, once renovated for many years to come. Much happiness to you! Happy New Year 2022! 🙏❤️
Congratulations on your new property it looks amazing. I hope you keep us informed as you make your renovations in improvements I know it will look fabulous.
I’m so happy for you Marie-Anne to own such a beautiful, historical property! The house and grounds are just stunning and I have no doubt you will add many exquisite touches. The grandfather clock is wonderful! 😍
How wonderful you have been able to acquire such a historical and interesting and fine house and barn and bakery building!!! It’s going to be exciting to see what you will restore and change and make this incredible place with your own style and taste… lovely Marie-Anne!! Congratulations 🍾
Congratulations on the new house - there are so many out buildings, so much potential. It will be interesting to see your renovation process and uncovering all those fireplaces. Your kitchen is very large - the French Revolution hacks were interesting. What a treasure, lots of land, lots of buildings - ripe with possibilities!!
Congrats! The house and grounds are gorgeous. It will be so much fun to renovate and decorate (and a LOT of work). I can’t wait for more videos of your progress.
Congratulations Marie-Anne! The house is steeped in history and has wonderful bones. With your impeccable taste, I can see you transforming it into a comfortable and beautiful home. Hope you can share this progress with us as you go along.
You have such nice views looking out the windows. I love that! This is quite inspirational since we too are making a big move next summer, to Texas where we will live in the country and have horses and cows. I'm glad that you are still adventurous. We have received some criticism for moving across the country "at our age", but this is our dream, and we are going after it!!
Congratulations on your new home, Marie-Anne. I look forward to watching the restoration. The buildings are so beautiful. I also look forward to seeing horses there with you.
Such potential! It's already beautiful from the outside - the stonework, the land, the surrounding buildings. The interior has great bones! It will be exciting to see how you transform it all. Oh, and I'm just curious, are the fireplaces in all the rooms something that you will be able to open back up? Congratulations to you and your husband!!
I love your home and beautiful estate. I look forward to seeing your renovation videos. The views from your kitchen are amazing. Congratulations On your lovely home. 🤗

It is so beautiful, Marie-Anne, and so historical! I am so happy for you - and for that beautiful house! You will love it, restore it, and make it a home once again.
Do you know the "provenance" of the house? Can just imagine its history! Love the deep window sills, and those STONE STEPS! Man, fantastic find. Congratulations!
Absolutely charming. I would to live there and redo it to fit my personality. For me it would be a dream come true. I'm very happy and excited for you, what a lovely way to start the new year. CONGRATULATIONS!!! And many blessing as you start this new journey.🧀🥐🍇🍷
What a lovely old house. It will be even more delightful when you are done decorating it. Perhaps I could come and be your sous-chef for videos, even though I'm not a chef. I could sleep in the little room under the stairs. Good luck on your new adventure and I cannot wait to see all about it
Thank you for sharing this! My brother married a French Ambassador to Germany’s daughter, so I have beloved family in France, Paris to be exact. Always a lover of all things French, I built a Southern Colonial home outside Los Angeles in an equestrian community, and promptly filled it with a lifetime collection of French furnishings, real, as well as some reproductions. My brother (now deceased) and his family also had a farm In the Perego where they spent much of the summer relaxing, playing, and gathering and canning fruits, and vegetables for the winter months. Their story, and life in France is a romance for a novel. In fact, my sister-in-law is beginning to write a book documenting their journey… I look forward to following you on this, your journey, in a wonderful setting with rich history!♥️
WOW, Marie-Anne! You will have so much fun renovating and making this old place a new gem. Putting your heart "le couer" into it. Tremendous possibilities. And, you certainly have the energy for it. Will look forward to seeing ur renovations. Do u know any of the families histories who once resided here? Do you know any of the old stories? I imagine you could find out from the land office that you purchased this through. Would be fascinating to know. Thank you for sharing. Bless you & your new home life.
What a lovely, historical, and charming farm house! Surely the unfolding of the mystery of its past, will emerge, as you make it your home, and add to its story! Thank you for sharing your journey. ❤️
Love your new property! It’s beautiful. Such an enormous project. You have to have a good imagination to see it what things could be like. I hope we’ll see the work in progress? And a couple of horses! You’ll have lots of rooms for guests in the farm buildings - did you call it a dépendance ? It’s all fantastic. Wishing you many years of happiness there.
This beautiful property is full of potential. I know you will create an classically elegant home. Look forward to watching the transformation. Congratulations!
Wow, what gorgeous country house! Been a hectic year for me, I had only followed your the other channel and missed this. To catch up on your videos of this restoration works. Awesome home project that requires much energy and inspirations. Motivates me to keep moving forward.

Oh my, the views from the windows are exquisite. How wonderful for you to decorate and make your own. It has such good bones and so much history. Congratulations and enjoy! Linda from Paris Ontario.
Love your hew home...so many possibilities!!! And your little brown dog...looks like the dog I had growing up (but her ears were down like a dachshund)!!! May their life (and that of your other dog) be as long as her's. She lived 18 years!
