Every year there is a Masterpiece that never wins. This is clearly the Masterpiece this year, the real winner.

We'll see lots of tears in the grand final. Will probably be another case of Sobral's win. We knew back in 2017, Sobral would win jury but never thought he would move so many televoters. Slimane will probably do the same if not better.

Absolutely stunning. With a good staging, this can be a highlight of the evening. Actually, even without any staging and Slimane just standing there singing, it would still be a highlight for me. This is my favourite this year.

Say what you will about his vocal performative gimmicks but this is the best and richest male voice in the past few years

i think slimane should mix what he have done in his live performances. A stage as the same as what he did in the arc de triomphe performance mix with lights setting as in the official music video. In terms of the outfit, he can wear the glass one in the music video, and cover it with the long jacket. This is because he can take the long jacket out when he starts doing the acapella part. I swear it will be iconic.

I must admit I found this version better than the one in Malmö. Standing at the start and on his knees during the ‘acoustic’ part. That made that part extra intimate and intense here n Amsterdam. And then he stands up again and that gives extra power to the last part…
