Unboxing a rare but sweet old lighter made in France more than 70 years ago. The "Massip" features a nice mechanism patented by Pierre Massip in 1949 with a clever locking system when you turn the snuffer.
These r so much freaking fun! The care, the history, the asmr, the slow motion flame at the end, the collection…. I actually really like when these videos pop up in my RU-vid feed.
These videos make me ache for simpler, yet harder (but more rewarding for being so) times. I adore the exquisite lighters AND fabulous musical choices. Just wonderful. ❤
I dont know anything about lighters but i still love these videos. The music and the process for the final beautiful conclusion of the flame is just magical
Dear Lord, the original box with the instructional leaflet, both in excellent condition, as well. I completely understand the gloves. This isn't collecting of a casual nature. Kudos to you and thank you so much for sharing your passion!
I'd really like some stylish vintage lighter, but have no idea what to look for. My favourite ones are pretty damn expensive and/or in bad shape when looking at eBay.
yeah that's the rub, your only hope is to catch the vintage lighter in a lot of lighters where you spot the gem of the bunch if your are wanting it to be affordable.
hehe my plan is slowly 🐌 but surely working 😈 I would suggest to have a look in fleamarket, antique shops or thrift store, I'm sure with some luck and patience you can find great lighters 🤞🤞
Wow a(possibly) Frenchman with a weird obsession with lighters this is one of the most weirdest but interesting obsessions I’ve ever seen in my life and I love it
Sir I absolutely love ur videos and may I ask what ur most valuable lighter is, where you got it and where is it from. Also what is your entire collection valued at? Sincerely Bill USA
The lighters are absolutely beautiful. My only question is, where does he get the fluid containers from? I'd love to get my hands on those old refillable canisters as well. At least im assuming they're refillable.

I’m a WWI enthusiast looking for a trench lighter from the Austro-Hungarian side. Any recommendations (reproductions welcome, i don’t care if it’s an original)
