Aye lads and lasses, going up and down the country. From the South West all the way up to the North East hehe, and now here I am in beautiful Geordieland (well not quite but don't worry, Geordie videos are also coming soon)
Onto the video now. Route E1 goes from Sunderland (Fawcett Street) to South Shields (Interchange) via Seaburn, Whitburn and Horsley Hill, operated by Stagecoach North East. A route that mostly seems to use single deckers, so I was lucky enough to have a double decker on it!
My opinion: 9/10. Undoubtedly the best of the four routes I filmed during my North East trip, with a great journey along the coast, and with lovely scenery, especially between Whitburn and Horsley Hill (the rural part of the route)! Also enjoyed the section through Seaburn with the lovely houses facing the main road and the beach!
