Hi. Nice video on PhD life experience from recent grads. Can you please make a video or interview someone who has come to UK for PhD with their dependents (like a couple)? I need some info regarding the visa process for dependents where the primary applicant has PhD funding. Also, some updates to the housing situation for such kind of PhD students who would want to stay in studio like accomodation with their dependents. Sorry for the long list of demands 😅
Finding a fully funded phd for international student in uk os like finding a gold mine in backyard. It's so tough. Amd phd stipend is like 17000 outside london and 23000 in London. Prices of studio apartment varies city to city. If dependent is also coming or wish to come. They have to work also. Just to be able to survive ... can't save money
@@Dream_UK living abroad, many students explore nearby towns and countries either on long weekends or in semester breaks. Is that any different for PhD students? :)
@@soulandhuman yes we do have breaks during phd... and if needed to travel to different country for conference etc. The university will pay for it. But again it depends on project and topic of research. If it's hospitality then u will be travelling a lot. But if it's engineering or medical then there r time constraints
