Burma is a country in Asia which has been renamed Myanmar. Ghanaian soldiers fought with the British in Burma against the Japanese and that’s why this military Camp was named Burma Camp. All of Accra is Ga land, not just La. Due to Ga land being the capital city, the Ga chiefs donated a lot of land to the government and the rest was under the control of the Ga kings who sell it to the highest bidder.
