Gibraltar, British overseas territory occupying a narrow peninsula of Spain’s southern Mediterranean coast, just northeast of the Strait of Gibraltar, on the east side of the Bay of Gibraltar (Bay of Algeciras), and directly south of the Spanish city of La Línea. It is 3 miles (5 km) long and 0.75 mile (1.2 km) wide and is connected to Spain by a low, sandy isthmus that is 1 mile (1.6 km) long.
Gibraltar is a heavily fortified British air and naval base that guards the Strait of Gibraltar, which is the only entrance to the Mediterranean Sea from the Atlantic Ocean.

Gibraltar is not part of the United Kingdom, Gibraltar is a self governed, British Overseas Territory, with the exact same status as Bermuda or Bahamas and other B.O.Ts.🇬🇮

Apparently, the Bahamas are an independent country since 1973, Burmuda, and Gib of course, of British are overseas territories, along with several others around the world

Well the Main Square by Casemates is smarter now then when I was first there in 1979 on a 2 yr Posting with the Army and on my return as a civillian in 1982 to live and work there for a few years at the Rock Hotel and the Wig & Gown Pub, that is the first thing I noticed. I will add comments as I go through the Video. Tony in England

Its also nice to see Main Street finally went traffic free, but noticed a lot of the bars that were there are now gone.

Interesting, once you exited Land Port tunnel and out onto Winston Churchill Avenue you walked past what must be the worst part of Gibraltar. Hopefully with all the planning applications for new apartment towers going in daily, one will soon go in to redevelop the eyesore that is the Glacis Estate.

Hi there, thanks for watching! From what we know, entering Spain from Gibraltar is not complicated, the same rules apply for all. As a matter of fact, a lot of residents from Gibraltar are travelling daily to Spain and back, while the Spanish are doing the same. 👍

Y Ceuta Y Melilla De Marruecos y Catalunya de Los Catalanes, y California y Arizona de Mexico, etc etc etc. lo que paso paso, Gibraltar es lo que es y punto. Lo que hay que hacer es, mirar hacia el futuro para el bien estar de todo, y no mirar al pasado.
