Italy greats Alessandro Del Piero, Francesco Totti, Roberto Baggio, Gianni Rivera and Giancarlo Antognoni visited the Italian squad at their training camp with head coach Luciano Spalletti and coach Gianluigi Buffon to unveil a new training jersey for the national team on Monday.
"It was great (sharing time with the squad). We've experienced some situations, that find us now from the other side, with a bit of nostalgia. Also, with a bit of envy. We saw great qualities in the guys, things that they will have to show on the pitch. Also carrying the great responsibility of wearing the enormously heavy national jersey but fascinating and great at the same time. We wish them all the best because they are also representing us and Italy," said Del Piero.
The "we are all 10" jersey was worn by the Italian squad on Monday as they trained ahead of their international friendly against Turkiye on Tuesday in Bologna, Italy.
