🇯🇵 “Kinokawa Fruit Line” Touring in Wakayama, Japan ② 

The official name, (Kinokawa Sagan Koiki no Udo), is a two-lane farm road that connects Hashimoto City, Wakayama Prefecture, to Kinokawa City.
As part of the wide-area agricultural complex farm road improvement project (a prefectural project, the open section is managed by the city and town) in accordance with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' implementation guidelines for farm road improvement projects, the road is divided into two areas: the wide-area farm road in the Kinokawa left bank area and the wide-area farm road in the Kino-sato area. Construction is underway, and in 2014, the line was given the nickname Kinokawa Fruit Line through a public contest.
The entire 6.4km line between Shimizu in Hashimoto City and Arami in Kinokawa City will open on Saturday, April 1, 2023.
Ranked No. 1 in Wakayama Prefecture in terms of overall agricultural output, it is one of the nation's leading fruit producing areas where you can harvest seasonal fruits such as the top brand ``Arakawa Peach'' as well as hassaku, figs, persimmons, kiwifruit, and strawberries.
