Back with another episode at a new country! This time round we’re revisiting Tokyo! Last visit was at 2019 which I had vivid memories of visiting Osaka, Kyoto, Nara and Tokyo. Hence decided to revisit as I wanted see the Harry Potter exhibition!
First time flying with Air Japan and gotta say not bad at all! Personally I think they’re doing much better than other budget airlines. Clean, spacious seats with thoughtful features. Preordered their kawaii bento, I would say taste was just decent but plus point for the effort.
We took the airport limousine bus to Shinjuku West station at $29.20 via Klook. Stored our luggage right after alighting bus and went to Keio Department store to have our lunch. A lot of food choices at basement but our meal was just alright.

We then headed to Harajuku area to try out the highly raved I’m donut? Sorry to say but it’s rather disappointing, don’t have high expectations on this shop. It’s not awful but I don’t think it’s worth the queue. Wanted to go Cafe Reissue to try their cute latte art but had to wait hence we went to a takeout latte art cafe instead. Latte Pocket’s price was kinda high but they do have a few flavours for you to choose from and the art was very cute!
After that we finally checked into our airbnb at Nishi Shinjuku which was along the pink line. The airbnb was located about 5 mins walk away from the train station. Feels like a rather homey neighbourhood area but there’s a few food choices to choose from such as Sukiya, Mcd, local restaurants, vending machines and convenience stores such as 7-11 and Family Mart.

We continued our night at Fuunji to try out their infamous Tsukemen. Though it’s touristy, I think it’s worth trying. Totally a new experience. A very concentrated broth. You may expect some queue as it’s a bar counter limited seats concept. Ended the night at Mega Donquijote to digest our food and get some souvenirs.
I gotta say sometimes my head and mouth speaks different words. So sometimes you’ll see me saying wrong words but it’s not like I can re-film anyway 🤭. At least I don’t realise my mistakes until editing 😅. So I apologise!
