***Update: As of November 2023, my Klook code will not work on Tokyo Disney Resort tickets. I am working with Klook to see if this is temporary or permanent. The code can still be used for other eligible Klook activities. I am very disappointed about this update and I hope it will be re-instated soon so everyone can enjoy a discount on their Tokyo Disney Resort tickets***
this place does not seem to be worth the large cost. Most things seems to involve some additional cost on top of the already high prices. 2 hours of waiting for a ride ? charging additional 15 per person just to avoid waiting as long in said ride? how are these prices justified.
I want to decide my Disney destination sometime next winter and it’s either gonna be Disneyland Anaheim or Tokyo Disneyland so I’m watching vlogs now to help me make a decision. Gotta say, your vlog really gets me excited for Tokyo
Thank you! They are the Ray Ban Classic Wayfarer. I believe the size is larger than the original size. I lost the glasses so I can’t reference them for you :(
Do the little cups on the Beauty and the Beast ride spin very much? I get motion sickness from spinning. Which Disney park did you like best? Thanks! Going in March! x
Hey Eileen, love your videos, I have a question. I purchased a ticket from klook. Do I need to make a reservation before arriving, or is it sufficient to simply show up and have them scan the barcode at the entrance?@@eileensworld
Hi Eileen, may I know what time you leave from Shinjuku to Disneyland and is the subway super pack during your journey as 7-9am is their peak hours and may I know how long you all queue at the entrance before getting in to Disneyland?.... Thanks
We are in line for about 45 minutes before getting into the park, and they every time we have gone, they start letting guests in before opening time. Regarding the train, its pretty busy (standing only) for our first trains but by the time you get on the line that gets to the park, there’s space to sit :)
Which theme park did you find the ‘best’? I’d like to visit one when we go to japan next autumn, but I’m not sure to pick Tokyo Disney, Disney Sea or Universal Studios (especially the Mario park). I only visited Disneyland in Paris (I’m European), and am bringing a friend who has seen neither ^^ personally, I’d rather go for the merch and such and the overall experience 😊
Tokyo DisneySea for sure! Because the park is unique to Japan. Tokyo Disneyland and USJ are both amazing too but it could ONLY pick one, definitely do DisneySea
Wow, times have changed! When I brought my kids to Disneyland in Paris you could walk up to all the big rides and simply press for a ticket at and come back at a designated time. You certainly didn't have to pay for it.
Yeah, fast passes are no longer a thing. Back in the states, there’s a similar feature called Genie+ but there’s a charge. And in the parks in Tokyo, only DPA is available, and of course, there’s a charge.
We don't have any Monsters Inc at WDW except for a minor meet & greet. Also, we don't have any Beauty and the Beast ride, just the show at DHS and the restaurant and walkthrough interactive experience at MK. The alien mochi aren't dumplings so I hope you weren't disappointed with them. Those are considered one of the must buy food items. For premier access, the website makes it seem like you can only buy one ride for the entire day. Is this true?
You’re right - the Monster’s Ince ride is only in CA Adventure! The english translation for the mochis on the menu is “dumpling” and I get them every time I visit one of the parks in Tokyo 😝. For DPA, once you purchase a time slot for 1 ride, you cannot purchase another DPA for a certain period of time (2 hours? I cant remember exactly) but yes you can buy multiple in a day
Between Halloween (starts around September 7th) and the first week of January usually is THE busiest time of the year at Tokyo Disneyland, whereas DisneySea is usually gets packed during their summer festival season
Hello,Eileen. Thank you for the video! I have a question, it's my first time going to Tokyo Disneyland. Can I take food from outside the park? Like seven eleven and stuff.
will October be a busy time for disneysea? what’s your top recommendation for the theme parks out of: Disney sea, Disneyland, or Universal studios? I’m having a difficult time deciding.❤
1) DisneySea 2) Universal Studios 3) Tokyo Disneyland 🙃 Also, if you go on the official website to check ticket prices, that will give you a good indication on how busy October will be. Regardless, just be prepared for it to ALWAYS be busy (just like Disney parks in the US) but you can definitely still enjoy your day there!
Hi .. Really a nice and an informative video .. we are planning to visit next month end , so I just want to know if I can go on the rides you went with a 21months old boy ?
Thank you for watching! If you go on the official Tokyo Disneyland website, you can check the exact height requirements for each ride 🙂 www.tokyodisneyresort.jp/en/tdl/attraction.html
No more than 30 min. Even though the park was busy, the counter service restaurants that we went to did not have wait times. If we stayed longer in one place, it’s because we needed rest 😅
It’s a separate line and it’s a lot shorter. The wait, of course, will depend on how many people have a DPA for that time slot. Correct, you will need to purchase a DPA for each ride that you want to use it for
You can ride all the rides with your ticket. You will ONLY need to pay extra for Disney Premier Access (DPA) which will allow you to ride CERTAIN (popular rides) with a shorter line. Like a paid Fast Pass
May i know how i can add my daughter into my group in the Tokyo Disney App? She doesn't meet the age requirement to create a disney account. Thank you!
such a helpful video, thank you! For further information, I would like to ask about Entry Request to the show, I heard that its a random lotto which if you fail once, you cannot attend that show (even in other show time) for whole day right? if yes, do you have any tips for this? haha I hope my mon can have a chance to see the Magical Show😢 thank you in advance!
Thank you for your comment! That is correct. Actually when I went to Tokyo Disneyland last week, it was my first time using the Entry Request feature on the app and didn’t get into any of the shows on the list. Parades you can purchase DPA for but for the Magical Music World you can just cross your fingers and hope for the best!
Thank you for the content! I’ll be visiting Tokyo in Winter (February) and I’m not sure which park would be better! Certainly wouldn’t want to get wet and also not sure what rides might be closed in winter? would you have a recommendation on this? :)
You can watch my video here to help you make your decision: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QgToDnNjXM8.html. And you can always check on the Tokyo Disney Resort Website to see which rides are operating (or not) closer to you visit :)
On busy days or if you don’t want you wait in a long line, you can pay for Disney Premier Access which will allow you to ride a popular ride at a certain time slot with a shorter line.
Hi! i love this video its very informative could i ask a question based on your experience? 1. we are planning to visit japan in october, do you think visiting japan in october is worth it? 2. what day do you recommend visiting tokyo disneyland? thank you so much!
october is a good time to visit Japan, and it could be worth it, but note that the leaves hasn't changed colours yet so you can't really enjoy watching those. I would recommend going during weekends except monday and friday. And avoid the second week of october, there are holiday on october 7, 8, 9, some people might take extra day offs so it might be crowded. Do note that october has halloween event so, it will still be crowded than usual. Hope that helps :)
I live in souther calif … Disneyland here has become wild with riff-raffs and didn’t feel safe going there .. We opted take a family trip to Japan … Tokyo Disney is the only Disney Id go to
@@eileensworld sadly no ... i was at disneysea last week n hmmm i cant use debit card n haihhhhh the line was long n the hit is crazie ... we end up went back to hotel early! 😫😭
it will be crowded no matter what day you go, but going on a Tuesday is still better than going on a weekend. Still worth it no matter what. Have a wonderful trip to Japan next month.
Thank you for your amazing video. It helped us decide not to go. Japanese instead of English dialogue, huge Long lines, wasted time. We've been to Disney at Sea years ago and it was very cool
Hi there, hope you see this. I’ll go next next week and i’m so excited but nervous at the same time. I already bought tix and may i ask when should i buy the premier access? Can i buy it while waiting in line (entrance) or i only can buy it on the app when they already scan my code? Is it first come first serve? 😅🫶🏻
Hey Patricia! Don’t stress, you can buy DPA once your are in the park. While it can sell out, I wouldn’t worry because you will have lots of time slots to choose from. Make sure you have the app downloaded so you can buy them directly from you phone. Otherwise, you can buy them at Main Street House.
Hello! Brief and informative video 😊 may i ask - on DPA, can we purchase as a group if 5 of us are using it per ride? We are going this Oct with our kids
Thank you for the video it’s really helpful ! I have a question though, since Disney Tokyo doesn’t offer multi day tickets, can I buy 3 days tickets separately or am I only allowed to go for one day ?
@eileensworld I think they were asking if they plan on visiting Tokyo Disneyland for multiple days, would they need to just purchase tickets for each day.
