I was supposed to go to Korea for the first time in two years at the end of the year, but my flight was canceled. I impulsively bought the cheapest package tour (hotel + train). And I happened to go to a city called Hamamatsu. Yes, I can't go to Korea, but I'm leaving Tokyo anyway.
浜松(Hamamatsu) is a city in Shizuoka Prefecture, about 2 hours from Tokyo by Shinkansen (Japanese bullet train). It is also called the city of music. Do you know "Yamaha", a famous Japanese manufacturer of musical instruments? It is said that "Yamaha" originated in Hamamatsu.
