Found out the channel today. Been following Itchy Boots adventures: quite fascinating to have a Kenyan doing amazing local adventure content! with this, I do not need to travel physically! Am glued!
The bad decision I made at 14 falls is following a local tour guide to take us (two) through the the sceneries of this place before negotiating the price. The river crossing, divers point, the written rocks, rock climbing, boat ride and back. (a radius of 300m). We were hit with international prices for the two hours we spent with the guy. I hated the man to date.
I experienced the same thing today!!! They did not communicate the prices before we started and ended up overcharging us for only three activities. I learnt the hard way.
Those tour guides there at 14 falls can exeggerate the price and hike it way up so the best advice is to negotiate and agree before you enter the water and embark on crossing the falls, there is no std fee set for the crossing guides.
@@96Lost But you cut the circuit short at Tala, you could have gone all the way to iveti hills and see the anti gravity road or take the junction to mua hills all the way to sonkos area then try your braking skills all the way to lukenya msa rd
We hiked Kilimambogo last year April then a heavy downpour ambushed us at the gate just after descent 😂😅 I still remember how doubtful I was about the state of the Athi river bridge in your clip.Looked so narrow and run down. Now I hear it was swept away by the ongoing floods
Can I tag along on one of your expeditions please? Truth is, I'm curating my own wanderlust channel but I've never handled those little cameras before 😅 and I also intend it to be a faceless channel but I wonder how you guys pull that off 🤦♀️
Yes for now I can say some place I visited in ukambani kilima mbogo I walked to the top yes I rattle my British friends here in Gatwick. But me and girls we walked up for hours.
I am addicted to this channel since the Taptengelei road trip...you have mastered the craft bro, world class editing, good drone shots, etc, keep going
Wow!!! I just stumbled on your channel but now addicted catching up on back episodes. Your drone skills are superb especially that video some where deep in the Rift Valley. Webaale nnyo Ssebo. Africa Mashariki +256 but in frigid Nashua, NH.
Wah that crossing of river with guides remind me of 2002 when we were crossing and I slided almost was carried by water, the water was in high volume as it was during rainy season.. Good content keep it up
