If you come to Cambodia next time, please dont forget to visit Mondulkiri (Highland scenic), Kratie (famous for its graceful dolphin) , Kampong Speu (Kirirom National Park and Khnang Phsa Mountain ) and Koh Kong (mangrove forests). The best time to visit is between November and January; however, we have an important holiday in November which is Bon Om Touk (Water festival, 26 Nov - 28 Nov 2023).

I think Spain and Brazil are worse for pick pockets. But even in Canada there are pick pockets in the big cities and Niagara Falls during tourist season. It’s a global thing….all over the world.
Happy times in Cambodia for sure 👌 Appreciate your overview at the end - it’s certainly very appealing place to visit and is high on my list - Many Thanks as always my friend 👋👍😃🙏
Nice one mate 🏅 it was a pleasure going to all those beautiful places in Cambodia and I’m happy to see you’re still part of this journey 😃 have a great evening!
Hi Cambodian here from Sydney 👋 we don’t have beef with Thai people! They have beef with us, what we are doing is defending ourselves, there’s a difference and lot of education people will know that.
Hi hi, they, thanks for watching from down under 🦘 not everyone is the same and luckily there are more Thai people talking good about Cambodia then you probably know of :)
@@Chai_TravelMost of us, I bet, desire a peaceful life. However, I hold a tiny group of individuals accountable who want to profit financially and/or politically from the cultural conflicts; in particular, some unethical social media content producers and netizens. They exaggerate conflicts and frequently rely on false or questionable sources of information. We inherited the culture from people who lived in the region and nearby regions, making it difficult to pinpoint the origin of many things without solid evidence. However, put these administrative boundaries aside, we are all belong to one species: Home Sapiens. Normally, I ignore bad comments from irrational people. ❤ Peace!

Great idea doing interviews in the departure lounge on your own way out of the country then giving your own opinion. Great work champ. Looking forward to a Pad Kaprow and a couple of Leos I bet. Home sweet home for a while in good old Chiang Mai 🤩
Thanks mate :) I always try to find a reason to grab the mic and chat with some random people. Haha year tbh I love Chang beer better. But lately I do seem to switch it up a bit just for a change. Ow I love a good padkaprow 🤤
Always interested in you show, Mr. Chai esp. your honest review and those of lovely people--expats you've interviewed! It's like y'all good quality mirror for Cambodia. God bless.👍🙏
Thank you for featuring me in this video ☺️ It was such an amazing surprise to see myself included, and I’m still buzzing with excitement! My dad’s friend in Cambodia had recently stumbled across this video. I really appreciate the work that you’ve put in, the video turned out to be great.
Ey you! Aw thanks for helping out by sharing your experience. It was very nice to talk to you and I’m pleased to know you’re happy to watch it back 😃 have a great day and who knows our paths will cross again 🙏
Please go to Battambang province next time you visit Cambodia. Because you will discover more about Cambodian food, culture, and nature there. Thank you for all of your video and wish you have a safe trip anywhere you go.

I want to tell u shortly about KUN KHMER Mauy Thai is in Thailand 🇹🇭 KUN Khmer is in Cambodia and u can see in the wall of temple it’s mean that Cambodia have KUN Khmer a thousand years ago. And I watched all your video , very nice ❤ Thank You very much Mr.CHAI for visiting in Cambodia 🇰🇭
8:09 Thiago did not just had a combodian flag. He praised Kun Kamar and insulted Muay Thai eventhough he was trained by Muay Thai long before Kun Kamae. So let's get that fact staight.
The so called backpackers simply cannot afford the rising prices in Cambodia..no worries in the next decade Cambodia would become highly develop country...im excited for this new prosperity in the country......🎉🎉🎉😊
i am so glad that there is no argument between Thailand and Cambodia in the comment section. Most Video i have watched about these 2 country, they alway arguing in the comment section.. and that make me sad because the hatred is not ending.
The Chinese basically destroyed the ambiance of the southern beaches😮 its very expensive now. I heard a basic room in the south is around 30 dollars. But Cambodia is still very cheap.
In Cambodia, you can find peace of mind if you are peaceful. If you want to stay forever, you won't have any problems. In a decade, Cambodia will surpass many great countries in all good aspects. They are moving in the right direction. Like their leader, I advise the citizens to remain calm and calculated.
China ruins everything it touches and Cambodia is buried already in failed Chinese projects and debt. Cambodia will not advance as quickly as SE Asian countries that are free of Chinese influence.
Awesome interviews mate, pickpockets are in al the major cities and busy places, just be aware and stay UberChamp mate, have a great one in KL, cheers 🙌🍻

Im leaving USA and planning to move to Kampot to continue my future for a while. This videos title had my heart racing, and I was expecting to be convinced to change my plans 😱
@@Chai_Travel stayed there for the month of June. Went through the whole country & it took my heart away. Also met a wonderful English speaking Khmer woman that’s going to stay with me and help navigate the new landscape. I had to become a full time remote video editor to work remotely, now the pieces coming together!
I pushed and emailed the UK government for the covid jab to my MP in Wallasey, Wirral passed on to Mr Raab. The British Embassy done nothing. I never left
Hi Chai, i’ve been watching and enjoying your videos as I contemplate a trip to Laos and Cambodia. I think you are doing a very good job. However, after at least eight videos, I still have no idea of what “Stay champ” means. Is it an original phrase that you coined? (I mean, I know what the word, champ means, obviously, but I’ve never heard it in the phrase, stay champ)
Thanks for checking in 😁 haha I can see the confusion about “stay champ”. It more like a catchphrase. I do use the word champ for a long while now. Stay champ I normally just used between my mates. It’s basically means; stay on top of it/ keep winning in life/ be the best :)
Wow! That’s so generous of you 😃 thanks a lot for showing that support 💪🍾 you made my afternoon! It’s a pleasure to keep on rocking like we do 🏆 stay champ
@@Chai_Travel Thanks for coming to Cambodia, hope you will come again very soon. Your videos is very interesting and enjoyable, keep up the good work!!!
That’s nice of you to say :) I will definitely go back as I truly fell in love with the country and it’s people. Thanks again and hopefully some of the videos outside of Cambodia are also interesting to you. Have a beautiful rest of the day 🏆
Some people haven't traveled much, or it could be they have low expectations because of either where or what they came from, or it could be they simply don't know any better. But I can honestly tell you that having spent 3 years in Cambodia and being indirectly pushed out by the Chinese invasion, Vietnam offers 1000% higher standard of living in every which way. I've been back to Cambodia several times, and every single project they were working on say 3-4-5 years ago, are still being worked on this very day or simply falling apart, again. Cambodia is a disfunctional dump everywhere you look, and that's particularly noticable in the infrastructure and the piles of uncollected garbage everywhere. Of course there are decent places in Cambodia, but do you really want to live in your little bubble and never face reality out in the oh-so-hot streets...??? Cheers
Good show! Please continue to seek the TRUTH both good and bad ones! It will do a lot of good for #Cambodia bc of the corrupted gov that has been in power for 40+ years! 👍🍻
The best I have ever worked with was a black teacher and she was from Ghana for K1 in China. I find it difficult to believe why the Brazilian Fighter was told to leave.
@@dalis9404 Because during the match he wore the Cambodian flag and openly expressed his love and representation for Cambodia and their marital art ‘Kun Khmer’. My guess is the Thai organization didn’t like that a fighter who was representing Cambodia won the belt so they did a petty move and stripped his champion status even not recognizing his win, as well as not paying him for the fight.
Wow they ripped out his big moment and his success. Can’t imagine how he was feeling. I feel So sorry for the Brazilian Fighter. What is his name ?if you don’t mind I’m asking
Phnom Penh is pretty good when you know you’re way around. I’d avoid Sihanoukville for the next 5year. I’ve made a video of this town you might wanna look at to get an idea of the current situation: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ObunbWTIcm0.htmlsi=k5C-BY-XAnQoyGWT
Without France or colonialism There will be no problems with Thailand and Cambodia. Probably Cambodia be part of Siam to this day. no division or hate each other.
But to your point, yes… there would be no overt conflict or hate between Thai and Khmer or Viet and Khmer if the French did not step in because the Khmer people would have to officially assimilate into either being Thai or Vietnamese.
You are so wrong lol. Thai or Siamese don't know how to direct control or incorporate land and population under their rule. They just demand tribute or respect that's all 😂. Now the Khmers dominated the whole Thailand directly. In other words, Thailand should be incorporated by us Khmers again and all Thais can now claim Angkor wat is part of their country called Cambodia. 😂
@@imperialkhmer6146 LOL. Cambodia knows how to cooperate with France? That's why your country is poor dirt and becomes beggars on the streets in Bangkok

We are good to discuss about other topics but if you bring up the history, who come first, who original, who copied who…then the forward conversation will not be good🤺🤺😂😂 it’s a love hate relationship. It depends on one's perception of both nations.
there's no competition between Cambodia and Thailand... if anything, the 2 countries share a co-dependent relationship... it's the Khmer and Thai "keyboard warriors" who have problems with one another. No respectable Khmers and Thais would have beef with each other. :) Also, if you're ever in Cambodia again and wanna try real Cambodian dishes (like region-specific Khmer food or the authentic dish with no fusion like in many mainstream restaurant) I can show you around. This goes out to other food vloggers too... coz I'm just too tired of seeing people trying all the same mainstream dishes... Khmer food is so much more than just Amok and beef lok lak LOL.
Your video title us click bait. The viewer expects leaving to mean permanently - and you've drawn us into a mislabelled video. Yes, I enjoyed your video, but I'll be leary about your videos in the future. That's gotta hurt your business. Blessings!

B.S. video. Instead of telling us what people are fed up with and why, and where they are moving instead, this guy simply went to the airport and interviewed people, some of them only leaving for a break or on business. Don't waste your time watching this.
Chai, do not wear a khmer tshirt with 'I love Siem Reap' on it in Thailand. It literally means 'Siam defeated' in the centuries old conflict between the Khmer and Thai (Siam). Not a good reminder to the lovely Thai people 🙄
@@Chai_Travel I am Thai, if you have that shirt You can wear that shirt. We Thai people don't care. is your right We are not attached to the past. Not attached to the name either. There are many cities in the world. Changing the name according to who will rule Ayutthaya means never defeated. but lost to Myanmar twice Some Thai people's name is Amorn, which means immortal, and do you think he's really immortal? Former name of Siem Reap Is "Siam Raj", which means "Thai's Land." probably wouldn't allow this city to use the same name for sure.
@@PSK-0999glad to see this comment i hope all thai is educated like you instead of making nonsense history and trash talk cambodia. Glad too see a good thai person like you
My advice for guides, tuk tuk and most people... if they look more indigenous, they will not likely scam you. Scammers are mostly from Vietnam and more Chinese looking.
Tuk tuk scams are happening all over. Also in Cambodia. Always fix a price before you hop in is my advice. Check on Grab or PassApp how much they charge, use that amount and give a minimum of 30% tip as the apps charging a bare minimum.
Sad to see you leaving Cambodia. Will you be visiting Vietnam? I have spent so much time in Thailand, but can't wait to enter Cambodia and Vietnam for the first time.
