In this episode, I will show you what you can do while in the Netherlands. If you visited Amsterdam and want to get out of the city you can go in a Dutch Countryside Tour. You will see amazing locations like the famous windmills. We also visited the cheese factory and a wooden clogs factory. The tour takes about half a day and we journeyed to the North Holland towns of Zaanse Schans, Edam and Volendam. We saw the working windmills at an open-air museum on the Zaan River, visited a dairy farm or cheese weighing house where we learned how Dutch cheese is being made, and steped inside a clog factory. We explored the historic windmills of Zaanse Schans Marvel at the landmark monuments of Volendam, including the old fish auction rooms, strolled the twisting street of Volendam and soaked up the fishing village atmosphere and also watched traditional craftsmen at work, making clogs and other artifacts.
