Yeah and me. She really came across well on Colbert. And wow what a sharp contrast to the rambling isolationist nonsense spouted by the Cheeto president.
M Vida MIT manukau lol 😂 also the fact that you’re bothered by a RU-vid comment, tells me enough about your character! Have a blessed life ahead. Pls don’t respond to this comment because the convo ends here.
IF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY CAN ONLY CONTRIBUTE TO 90% OF THE PEOPLE, BUT LEFT THE OTHER 10% TO ROT IN MISERY, THEN WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO FOLLOW THE NEW PRINCIPLES THAT WILL CHANGE OUR FUTURE! IT'S TIME FOR THE WORKER'S PARTY TO BECOME THE NEW FACE OF THE PEOPLE! IT'S TIME FOR THE NATIONAL SOCIALISTS TO TAKE PLACE IMMEDIATELY!!! D:
Majbah Ahmed What made leaders like Arden and Trudeau so charming is they talk about contributing to a positive impact in the world based on the set value that represent who they are. Tun’s speech is about creating worries by telling a story of a villain and a victim. He lost me in the second part of his speech.
I just want to say to all New Zealanders your Prime Minister speech was so inspiring and uplifting because it outline what I feel all nations should be striving for to ensure the World continues to be a better place for ALL life!! New Zealanders should be so proud and please do not feel sad that so many nations failed to attend her speech, for its on RU-vid for all to see and compare their own leaders too! Thanking you from Canada!
Yeah, you lot have Justin. No thanks, we don't need liberalism here! P.S, not personal, I have 2 cousins over in Canada, been there many times and love the place!
Thank you. What she said about New Zealand and its values are completely true. It is the 2nd least corrupt country in the world. She represents New Zealand attitudes perfectly. Canada is another beautiful country & aligned in many ways with us.
@@Pow3llMorgan yes it is taught in all our schools but most of my mates all went to an all Maori school where they only speak te reo Maori (Native Language) or start from kindergarten and learn from when they are 2 or 3 years old. You can be any race, white, black, brown or what ever it doesn't matter in NZ I've seen a Indian women speak it fluently as well as a lot of asian people too. It's a beautiful language.
Her brand of great leadership shows in how her government has been managing the Covid-19 pandemic successfully. Makes me want to migrate to NZ all the more!
@@vincentpaulgaton326 Exactly so she will support the Gates vaccination programs , as she wants the one world government . SHE is a threat to all of us ! She single handily has destroyed the NZ economy !
I didn't vote for her but I regret that. This is an outstanding speech. It's both refreshing and startling to hear a politician talk this way, so frankly, coherently and so positively. She is quite literally the anti-trump in just about every possible way. Kia kaha!
I wish i was from 🇳🇿 new Zealand to feel the pride, this is the leadership is all about, she is great wonderful, the greatest speech i ever heard, love and respect from a Palestinian male to this great woman
Impressive speech Madam Prime Minister, you made your country proud ! I want to visit your country more than ever! Great effect to speak in the indigenous tongue.
@kellyryan she has 85% approval for her response to the Pandemic. Internal polling has Labour having the numbers to govern on its own. This is a very likely result in September. This is “getting real” imo. Hahaha. The Nats aren’t likely to get anywhere near the Treasury benches for another 6 years at least. And I couldn’t be happier about it!!!
I think Jacinda Ardern has a great sense of her own nation- they ARE pragmatic, engaged, reasonable, and caring. WELL DONE NEW ZEALAND! Love and admiration from Canada.
Jacob, 56 % didn’t want the other party. 56 % wanted a Change. The Majority got what they voted for. The leader of the other party is sitting on 10 % popularity, Jacinda is on over 40% popularity and climbing as we speak.
Possz that's a bold faced lie, several NZF people wanted a national led coalition. but we will just keep our ten extra seats in parliament and take the 6 seats required for solo rule
Nailed it. What a great speech. So refreshing to see a young, positive politician... Oh, and a woman... Heavens forbid... I think we should have more young positive woman in politics, they seem to be genuine and want to make a difference. Nice job New Zealand. I've always loved your country...
@@skipperroy6212 NZ is a great place some things are expensive because we are a small population so anything imported has a large transport cost. NZ is always in the top 3 countries with last corruption, top ten to live. Tax funded health, education and welfare. Consider safe with low crime compared to other countries. It is a Socialist Democratic Society. Has it's problem like all countries, but acknowledges this and is always looking to improve the lives of it's citizens and engage and help the international community.
We are! She is trying hard to bring about positive change here, more kindness and common sense into our country. Cost of living here is expensive just like most countries and we have thanks to previous leading government high levels of homelessness. She has a tough job ahead of her and her coalition government to turn that around. She wants to make NZ the best place to be a child, and is in charge of reducing child poverty. A lot of us have heaps of respect for her and back her as she gets that we want more for our kids and our country. So please if you ever want to visit us at the bottom of the Pacific, please do. We would love to have you here. 😊

@@skipperroy6212 ignore his comment. I'd place strong money he is a National voter. Our two main pilotical parties are National and Labour - reminiscent of American Republicans and Democrats (respectively). Simply put, our country was divided between making profit or caring about our people. After 3 full terms of a National government, nothing really changed. We have what's referred to as a 'housing crisis' (regarding affordability) which occurred during Nationals reign. The above reply is cynical, immature, and ultimately fabricated. NZ, like any other nation, is a country, not a company. The NZ people decided it was time to run it accordingly. The results (countless comments in support of Jacinda) speak for themselves. She has a mess to clean up that's for sure, and she shouldnt be blamed for the faults created by her predessesors.
Great speech Prime Minister of New Zealand. Your knowledge of the world...climate changes, economic , globalization and humanitarian needs full coorporation from UN, is spoken with wisdom and compassion. Thank you mdm PM New Zealand🌿

Wow. What a ray of light in this gloomy world order. So articulate, so relatable, and very empathetic. Is it possible that a creature like this exists in politics?
This Ray of light is of no value to mainstream global affairs. There are only a handful of powerful countries who runs the world. NZ is not one of them.
I think current PM of New Zealand, HE Ms J Ardern will be a global celebrity because of her wonderful and lovely personality. I am now a fan of her's. Lover and respect for her as well as all the Kiwi peoples for electing such an amazing personality as their PM. Love and respect from Bangladesh.
Every point she made, I was nodding my head in agreement. Every subject she spoke about is important to me. New Zealand! I'm so jealous, but happy for you.
It is saddening to see that the general assembly was packed during donald ‚the very large a-brain‘ trump‘s speech and during this honest, moving, alarming and thoughtful speech by jacinda ardern of NZ hardly anyone was in the room...
She's lovely! Such a genuine person in high office! Somehow I liked her even before she got elected. It's the energy she carries... I'm glad she's our Prime Minister. 👍

How often have we seen world leaders speaking without once looking into a paper. This can only happen when one is truly knowledgeable on the issues that need to be addressed at a world forum. Hats off to Jacinda Ardern the PM of NZ.
She is looking at teleprompters... do you mean just simply not looking down or not reading? She is an excellent speaker and uses the teleprompters well.
Savage Nobles and Merry Peasants ....With Jacinda’s rising popularity, I’m afraid your single vote will leave you in a corner all alone by your very lonely sad self 😂
You may regret what you wish for, once the UN take full control of our dieing democracy here in nz, she sadly is a well rehurst puppet of the un. People would benefit from looking into the agenda. Justin Canada's PM is of the same ideology. It's taken two years to expose his corruption and agenda, hopefully we kiwis can see thro the virtue signaling and hold our political system to account, real issues are not being addressed while distractions mask her passing laws and policy not in tune with kiwi culture. Average kiwi are not aware of the critical political times and are too easily mislead by being too trusting. She could tell the public anything and they would lap it up. People please make informed choices our media has become politically motivated and people to casual to do resurch. Watching Jacinda in open parliament is vastly different her narsistic true colors shine bright mind you the public don't get to see, walk the walk stop talking the talk, earn respect.
Using teleprompter. They all do. Turning the page is just a safety measure to keep track where she is at just in case the teleprompter malfunctions then she will use the papers in front of her.

I lived in nz as an international student for 2 years amazing country amazing people lived in napier Hawkes bay. this is an amazing speech by the prime minister inclusive yet very grounded.
It has been said that we get the politicians that we deserve. So New Zealanders must be very deserving people! Put her in charge of the most needed and urgent Security Council reform!
@Trina Holman, grow up and go with facts before vomiting your hates as a bigot. She is expressing her personal opinions and prefer playing tango with false song of Globalism. The problems those we are facing are completely different than her nation. The false globalism is not working for our 99% for last two decades. We want to try something different and that is why we have elected president Trump.
super brutus you’re right, she’s just another pawn on the world stage that panders to globalists. Trump is a true patriot that cares about and puts Americans first.. and that’s what I like about him.
absolutely beautiful Thank you Prime Minister Thank you Mother Prime Minister (I mean this in the Most Respectful sense) Great Beautiful New Zealand...!

@dsndicmsa nothing wrong with my Country and our Prime Minister mate ..people should worry bout there own Countries ..we have the best Country in the World ..
Great address! PM Ardern kicked off humbly in Maori. My favourite part was when she covered climate change, the biggest problem that humans face today. Congrats New Zealand!
Grow up. Go get a litre of water from the ocean and store it under your bed. Problem solved. Desalination to provide drinking water problem solved. What was her idea? That's right nothing she's a muppet.
A brilliant, honest, smart, thoughtful speech about how the world should look like, how politicians should be, and how politicians should not be. All this in just 22 minutes! This Prime Minister is just brilliant. We hope to hear more from her. Bravo Jacinda!
Jacinda has a way about her often referred to as "Jacinda Mania" in NZ. She took over a labour party on the brink of collapse facing a real beating in the upcoming election then a short few months later formed a coalition govt and became PM. While I worry a bit about the coalition govt one can only admire her ability and strength. Great speech you did us Kiwi's proud Jacinda.
dsndicmsa that's a lie, maybe you should ask a minority like me if I feel stifled by some imaginary language police. I would be happy to tell that I have not since this new Government has been in power. However, the last government made me feel like I could never buy a house in New Zealand no matter how hard I work, at least this one makes me feel like they're trying to make things better.
Rather than throwing insults and paranoid discourse my way how about you explain YOUR CLAIM that this current government is implementing forceful tactics to stifle your use of language. If you mean something like Canada's Bill C-16 then we actually have nothing like that. As a matter of fact, there is no government policy that suggests the curtailing of specific discourse used in everyday societies, the ONLY kinds of speech that is not tolerated by law is hate speech and EVEN THEN there are still grey areas in which they are allowed to exist (particularly through the process of operating in the frameworks of free speech). As for your commentary on housing. Well don't even get me started on where this whole mess started. The previous National government had seen the average housing prices skyrocket. In 2013, an average South Auckland home used to cost $398,000 and in 2017 before the elections, that figure jumped to $698,000. What you don't realise is that while housing prices have increased since this new government has been in power, the rate in which those prices increased actually slowed down. Sorry you right wingers seem to have an issue with change, being stuck in the past really makes you hateful doesn't it.
Hilarious-alt right openly racist bigots who love to s...stir are now "moderate conservative " folk-get a grip bro. Jacinda is hardly at fault for anything Winnie does. From time to time you get a govt and leader you don't like just give them a chance and stay positive as your negativity will weigh you down. I know no govt is perfect an will never please everyone but one can only admire Jacinda as a young woman she has risen to the top on NZ politics which is far more than I and very likely you will ever do.
Also, your point about housing in Christchurch and RMA (I'm assuming you're referring to the Resource Management Act) falls short of the real truth. The National Party wanted to reform the RMA but it was heavily criticised because there were too many variables at play. The opposition at the time had argued that the reformed RMA would likely follow the same principles as the National Development Act 1979 that favoured larger scaled projects at the expense of smaller ones. This means the act would place far too much emphasis on rebuilding with the idea of economic improvement and considering Christchurch had just experienced an earthquake, they needed homes more than they needed their large businesses. To your point about Christchurch homes being the cheapest out of any large city in New Zealand... That's a lie, Dunedin holds that title mate.
Not at all, not sure your a kiwi, what makes NZ awesome is we have a global view based on the fact kiwis do fly! They fly around the world, learn and come home with a world perspective which rounds us a small nation. My home is NZ and i will be back, my impact in NZ will be better from my time in other countries. I hope Jacinda continues to move forward and double down on her inspirational view of NZ. The world needs inspiration and leadership.... NZ rocks!
Actually most Kiwis don't fly. Only middle class, upper middle class and the rich do an OE. Most of them stay here drinking the koolaid about how NZ is so great. New Zealanders leaving isn't an asset to the country as they go and pay all that tax in a foreign country. Most of them do not come back considering 1/5 of our whole population (1 million people) permanently lives in another country.
New Zealanders are one of the friendliest people in the world. Hope that western powers could learn from New Zealand on racism. It's almost non-existence there. Congratulations New Zealand.
Sebastian Schumacher We are western but the western powers generally means countries in Europe and America. We also have a heavy influence from other cultures rather than just European, so although we have a dominate European ethnic population, there is a noted effort within our government and in the broader population of listening and encouraging our indigenous peoples (Maori) quite a lot more than other countries in comparison. And racism is a thing here, its just not as in your face as other countries, its most systemic and slowly being corrected.
How civil and notable the New Zealand prime minister presented herself to the UN General Assembly. Her use of the word "WE" in describing the accomplishments and efforts of NZ can only be a sentiment that my president can hopefully attain. To gloat of his accomplishments during his speech at the UN is so self-centered and downright sad ! ... Yes, I am a USA citizen and the president of my country is Trump.
Well I thought it was very clearly a comparison to Trump's speech that came before hers. Just because you don't like criticism of President Trump doesn't make it any less valid or topical.
I wish I could offer all civic minded Americans a home in NZ. Maybe then we could actually change the world. I lived in Oakland for a couple of years and my impression of your average American was community spirited and caring. Trump is not an overarching example of every American. It is sad that a lot of non American people are basing their impressions on him. Oh and I forgot to add, Go Raiders!!!
NZ has so many homeless people, does the government do anything about it, and the suicide rate is very high. Not for a debate, this are acts. She speaks beautifully, but one needs to do, words perish, actions remain....I am not talking about her, but agin, generally, so many are good in oratory but very rare are those who actually do the work. All the best. Everyone needs compassion.
@@NonaK-mz8oy Everywhere there is homeless it's not always the governments fault. That said Labour have a policy to build more affordable housing including state housing. It always astounds me how people come from the islands to work on farms yet many homeless supposedly stuggle to find work. I know there are issues but they are not new ones and to lay the blame on rhis government is short sighted

@Kevin T if she wrote it. If she wrote it; it was a nothing speech about nothing. Climate change is just a drum they keep banging. And for those that didn't know; New Zealand has existed for ages now. She thinks we have just popped up. But now we have flooded our country with immigration now we truly have no identity. We are sadly multicultural. Boring same as everywhere else. The Maori culture is not my culture. But Maori tokenism is everywhere; the news, the morning breakfast shows. There are more Asians in New Zealand than Maoris. So why the tokenism because we sold our culture to whom ever could afford a ticket here.
