I am from Papua New Guinea and have been your subscriber for a while now.Having watched a lot of your videos , I never knew you'd do one about my country. I was pleasantly surprised to come across this clip.Thank you sooooo much for promoting my country.
The Bougainville part is misrepresented It was not PNG govt but Rio Tinto who destroyed everything and we know who is behind this.... But thanks for the exposure
I am from Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬 What's said in this narration is the truth about my country. The narrator must have even made his way up to the highlands to the Enga Province to include a word from my language "Endakali" meaning "people". The narrator deserves an applause from Papua New Guineans. Thank you very much for speaking the truth about my country. "Yu yet kam na lukim" (Come and see for yourself)
I think the lack of roads really help keep the 3rd largest rainforest in the world alive with its ecosystems and natural vegetation. Tourists who love nature will truly have a great experience in these untouched environment.
@@kay62475 bingo! You hit the money! The interior is not an easy place to explore. It remains untouched and a carbon sink. Its for those extreme jungle explorers and may not be for the casual tourists.

I was born in Mt Hagen .. WHP.. Papua New Guinea. Raised at Mele station. Pangia district. The Wiru valley. My parents was missionaries and served 35 years on the mission field. My dad started schools and my mummy was in the medical field and gave health care to villagers. I have seen a dinosaur! We was left pabakruk passed kaupina and almost befor the kagul river bridge .. this thing was there. It was about 4 feet tall and had spikes on its back! Then it run in the bush. Png has over 800 different languages. Tok Pisin is a trade language everyone knows.

Alot of tourists have come & we really have beautiful sites like sandy beach, waterfalls, lakes, traditional mythes and legend stories, sunset beach, traditional dancing group and many more too. Our people are very friendly 💙 even famous people like Will Smith visited our island last yr, if you're thinking to come, please do. Otherwise, thank you for promoting our country, love from Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬🇵🇬🇵🇬
Papua New Guinea is called the "land of the unexpected..Expect the unexpected."There is a major highway linking the coast from Lae into the interior of the country (Highlands). It's called the Okuk highway..it's a spectacular drive, with scenic views, fresh air and alot of beautiful breath taking landscape..we also have cultural shows, which attracts alot of tourists..You've gotta be here to experience one of the world's most beautiful places..
WOO HOO, first to comment, I looked it up they voted 98% to become independant and Papua New Guinea said by 2027 it will release full control to Bougainville

Love the video. It sums up just about everything. You can actually reach out to the PNG Tourism authority for more information on the dates for annual shows which each regions or provinces come together to showcase their traditional dances eg. The Tolai Varvagira, Goroka Show, Hiri Moale Festival etc.. sooo much to see..

As for the dinosaur creature, my Dad in his days would go hunting in the deep forest and he would tell stories of his kills. One of the many stories was these reptilian lizard, which is a smaller version of the T' rex. We call it the Kokomo or the tree dragon. Upon catching it's prey, it climbs massive trees to the tree top and devours its prey... For your info it's no a fable,ta

Hi, greetings from 🇵🇬 the second city of Papua New Guinea Lae city. Love watching you both vedio. Well most welcome to our beautiful Christain Black Country 🇵🇬
There are roads but many are neglected. Flights are expensive even for locals. So people travel by road or by sea (whether on a ship or a speed boat). The 70% of the population who live in the most rural areas tebd to walk hours on end to reach a road/air strip or flat area for helicopter (usually for medivac)
9:51 That video by Jean Pierre Dutilleux is a great documentary on youtube. I believe it's in 4 parts 15 mins each. I don't know if there's any other footage of an actual tribe meeting white men, or outsiders, for the first time ever. I think it was the 70's. I've never seen real first contact before. That's what got me interested in visiting 🇵🇬 one day.
Everyone in the country knows whiteman and have seen one. We are not obscure from the world. We are a friendly people. You should visit sometime. A tip: get to know the culture. Once you relate to us in Pidgin or our cultural gesture, you will get lots of love and laughter. We are proud of our culture. 🇵🇬🇵🇬
The secret to enjoying your stay & travels in PNG is to connect with the tour guides. The Papua New Guineans are a good, hospitable people but are doing it tough economically because of rampant corruption. You will find petty criminals here & there but the majority are peace loving, cheerful people. A lot of negative publicity by foreign media more often scares tourists away from PNG but those brave enough to come do get an adventure of a lifetime. PNG is the true definition of democracy. Come.
I love this channel with the advert video clips trying to cover the most diversified Tribes of a thousand with more than 860 ethnic languages and groups with traditional costumes, dances and cultures. I am an indigenous AsaroTribal man and always tell my foreign friends it's an island land of mysteries confounded to foreign explores how c we exist on this Dinosaur Looking Island which ONLY GOD can define our existence since the Flood of Noah exposed to civilisation after the 2sd World War officially. By the way am pleased with this advertisement, truly reflecting Papua New Guinean 🇵🇬 existence to non that I am aware of....❤ Congratulations ❤ (Mi laikim dispela toksave piksa) God bai blessim yumi olgeta 🌳 Generation
Come to my Island province New Ireland. People very friendly and laid back. Hospitable. You can dive, surf, kayak and visit so much more to explore. You will be call a brata which brother or Susa which is sister. This is because you look like us. Shalom.
Just FYI, 1. You can't see the whole of PNG in 1 day or 1 week... There sooooo much to see and experience. 2. To get more experience, you can check with our TPA organization to arrange for you 3. We are the definition of diversity, a developing nation. Carefully planing and connections will get you to the best places and deliver an experience you will never forget. Heck I'd be glad to set your travel in country. God bless you both and thank you for promoting PNG ❤🇵🇬💪
