Better yet, try witnessing how we Filipinos set off firecrackers and fireworks in the streets! That's where the real action is! However I would strongly and absolutely recommend to stay a good distance from where people light them, and to wear a face mask to avoid inhaling alot of the gunpowder fumes. And given that Filipinos really celebrate New Year with a bang.
Philippines celebration is insane! Their Festivals, Christmas seasons, New years and even birthday parties! It's so heart warming that's why the foreigners love the Philippines.
To be honest, this is just a 'tamed' version of our New Year's Eve😁 If we go back 10 years ago, The skies are more explosive and the ground would tremble at how loud and strong the fireworks were. Even though this is just it, I'm glad you all liked it❤❤❤ HAPPY NEW YEAR🎉
it's part of Philippine tradition to make it loud and joyful on new years eve... to blow those negative vibes away...and welcome the new year with a bang 😁😁😁15 to 30 years ago it's like a warzone ...so loud and so many injuries 😅😅😅. until the government decided to put some restrictions to some types of fire works and fire crackers...it tamed down a Bit... Back then it was awesome 😊😊😊
I suggest all subscribers to this channel not to skip the advertisements. They are showcasing our great Philippines in a simple , yet enjoyable manner.😊
This is why the tag line is "It's more fun in the Philippines" I am proud to be a Filipino. We may have a lot of problems during the entire year but we make sure that 1 day we try to forget it by celebrating the good things that we have from that entire year and hopeful that the coming year will be better than the previous year. Happy New Year to everyone. Thank you for loving and enjoying the Philippines. You and your family earned my subscription. God bless your family and your loved ones. 🙏🙏🙏
not really the Entire Philippines hehehe. Davao CIty Don't do Fireworks on Christmas and New Year or for any other celebrations even if its a CHINESE New year for almost 22 years now ^_^ hehe
Where most major cities have fireworks displays focused on one central location/spot - like the Eiffel Tower in France, the Hudson River in New York City, Big Ben in London, the Sidney Harbour Bridge in Australia, the Taipei 101 building in Taiwan, and the Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai - Metropolitan Manila has its own form of display in the pockets of random locations, just only meters from each other. The result, from atop a high rise, is ASTOUNDINGLY SPECTACULAR (as seen in this video). Manila truly is the world's true NYE Ground Zero for fireworks displays and celebrations. It's War Zone to the next level.
that's the toned down version of New Year in Metro Manila, in the 90's where fire crackers as big as dynamites is still available that after the festivities there are thousands of blown finger you can watch during TV news cast and fireworks popping start 2 days before the new years eve....
This reminded me of my young life in the Philippines. I left the country in 1980 for the USA, but Christmas and New Year are best celebrated in the Philippines.
YES! I can tolerate spending Christmas abroad, but I CANNOT tolerate spending NYE abroad! I seriously think EVERYONE should experience a Filipino-style NYE celebration at least once in their lifetime! Don't knock it till you tried it! 😊
Nope. Hawaii and Peru doing that thing also pero fireworks lng. Iba sa atin pati mga tricycle,🎉🎉🎉🎉😅😂 sasakyan, motor mga lata kaldero pinapaingay haha kaya ang saya
@@xrizbiraonly fireworks.. Ph is whole country. Not only we make noisy via our car, public vehicle, tricycle, motorcycle, cans, kaldero, kawali and sandok hahaha 🎉❤😂😅😂
Uncoordinated you say? I saw NY fireworks and it was a fucking trash one, coordinated but only for a few minutes 🤮🤮🤮 in the Philippines every CITY big or small would spend millions for fitrworks , and if it was not because of some laws that's prohibiting us from using a super loud fireworks that would even make the ground tremble we would have like a warzone! DO NOT BE LITTLE US WHEN IT COMES TO FIREWORKS WE CAN INVENT OUR VERY FIREWORKS THAT WOULD SOUND LIKE YOU ARE FIRING A CANON!
The fireworks are actually lessened because many fireworks restrictions have been passed down, so what you're seeing now is probably 3 times more than before like in 2010-2015, the best years of my life really. Most memorable
true, way back 2001 all the people who have money and can afford it can buy fireworks but due to some reason like increased number of injuries every year after Christmas and New year, fireworks is restricted, coz there's a lot of people losses their hands bcoz of it. Now a days specially in a country side Christmas and New year is getting quieter & quieter and you didn't feel like it's Christmas and new year it's so sadding, some part of PH, CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS ARE DYING SLOWLY the excitement of it is slowly dying, it feels like it's just a normal day or occassion. unliked b4 that's why I treasure those memorable moments that i experince b4..
@@lalap I hope more Filipinos with video cams back in the day digitize their old NYE videos and upload them on YT so people can see what the REAL Filipino NYE was like 20-25 years ago!
You said it right: NEW YEAR CELEBRATION IN THE PHILIPPINES IS THE BEST. I’m glad you enjoyed it and here’s wishing you will relish it many, many more times.
I think the Philippine New Year is the most beautiful in the world. It was a special experience for us. We will visit Manila again next New Year.Happy new year 🎉 Thank you for watching my video 🥰
Try being on some dense communities and celebrate with them... It doesnt matter where you go everyone we will welcome you here and even if you dont bring something... we will stuff you with lots of food... The best experience is to do it on ground with the locals you will feel the best experience there.. hope you try it next year as we all say Filipino Hospitality is exceptional🎉 happy new year!!!!!
Nakakakilabot Ang tuwa nila bawat bitaw ng salita na amazing nakaka proud bilang isang Filipino salamat kasi may isang nag vlog kung ano or pano Ang mag new year Ang Filipinas sobrang nakaka touch sila salamat po ulit dahil naranasan nyo po mag new year dito sa Filipinas
Just saw this vid... Its a typical new years eve in the Philippines, filipinos are so passionate when it comes to festivals and occassions you can already feel the Christmas just in september and yet it keeps getting better and better and the new years is hella cool
Thank you for showing the world this amazing New Year celebration in the Philippines. It made me so happy and missed the Philippine more. I'm from the Philippines, but I live in Australia. I haven't been home in the Philippines for at least 16 years. I miss home so much, and your vlog for New Year made me happy. Thank you, God bless, and a Happy New Year
Oh please go home for a while, you won't regret it! Ph is more developed now.Just sharing that what amazed me is all the Starbucks are absolutely impressive from the interior to exterior designs, from table to couch that you will enjoy having convo with friends and especially the coffee I really liked it here. Some of the starbucks in Vancouver had only 50sqm it was like for to go coffee you cant even sit for a long time and there was only limited seats and some of the stores are closing already wherein here in PH Tagaytay Starbucks is absolutely huge with amazing view of the lake and Taal Volcano. You are always welcome to come home! God bless!
Hello Philippines ❤we are happy you are all have awesome time in the Philippines especially the celebration of the New year take care and GOD BLESS TO YOU ALL🎉❤🎉
yep, in the PH, you don't go in one place to see new year fireworks show. the fireworks show is everywhere, and you got the best seat in the city. awesome view!
Im from the Philippines and celebrated NYE at Mall Of Asia. I didn’t know that the top view of Metro Manila was very astonishing and overwhelming. It’s like a warzone hahaha 😂 Thanks for the idea. Next year we will probably watch fireworks from the top view 😊 Or probably in Okada 🙂 Guys lets support their Channel.
Every NYE celebration, the whole Philippines looks like a war zone I mean EVERYWHERE. It's totally epic. The fireworks and firecrackers starts as early as October or November and lasts even until 3 or 4am of January 1. Fireworks, street party, amazing food, drinks, family and friends gathering and firecrackers everywhere. Every family household lights up fireworks and firecrackers to welcome NY. Philippines NYE is more festive, beautiful and every Filipinos welcome New Year with a bang. Every family spends tens of thousands some even spend hundreds of thousands of pesos for fireworks, firecrackers, food and booze for New Year's eve. Some companies and muinicipalities lights up millions of pesos worth of fireworks display. NYE celebration hits different in Philippines. it is definitely the BEST. Nothing beats it. You will know if you see or experience NY in other countries as well. We Filiipinos love our firecrackers and fireworks. We welcome the New Year with a bang. It's part of our Filipino tradition and it is one of the holidays we all look forward to after Christmas. Philippines is the place to be. Glad you experienced it. 2025 onwards will be bigger and more epic for sure.
This is more silent and have lesser lights now compared to New Years in the 89s 90s to before pandemic. But I'm glad that your whole family is happy celebrating New Year in our country and you find this as an amazing experience 😀🙏
As I always tell my friends here abroad that Christmas and new year in Philippines is like there's a war because of the nonstop fireworks 🎉 happy new year watching this I really miss Celebrating Christmas and new year in Philippines 🥺 its been 4 years now
Despite being koreans your family embodies an example of a filipino family. Embracing the filipino tradition and culture. Im glad ya'll are happy and no regrets being here in the PH. Best of luck to your channel and i pray you get more subs & followers
The Department of Tourism should really promote this Philippines tradition and celebration. This is a sight unlike any other! This is what happens when everyone has their own firework display. This is the definition of Chaotic Order. People doing their own thing and producing an amazing show of firework display.
It is a shame they NEVER bothered doing that! Had they done this 20-25 years ago, they would have pulled in adventure tourists and adrenaline seekers for those NYE tours! 🤣🤣🤣
Other countries prepares the fireworks on one specific area And the funny thing is you have to wait exactly 12am just to see those fireworks But in the philippines its everywhere Feels like a warzone 🤣 Happy new year philippines from 🇯🇵

@@hellophilippines513 Fireworks and Firecrackers are lessened since 2019 do to it's restriction, so what your guys seeing right now is 3 - 5 times less than the year 2018 - 2010, those year fireworks are crazy it's like world war 2 all the cities are covered with smoke like there's a group of bomb.hits it.

Thank you so much for taking this video of our New Year in Philippines. This is amazing i love it❤️ i missed this kind of new year that happens only in our Philippines Thank you so much....Happy New Year 2024👏👏👏
Watching fireworks display in some key cities with free concerts are encourage to avoid those firecrackers accidents. Some still do it but most just go to the concert venues and watch the fireworks display upon countdown. So happy for you to experience our new year in Manila. In the province they use those bamboo canyons to make a loud popping sound. That is how it was done before locally. I think it was a Chinese influence to make loud noises to drive away negative energies. Happy New Year!
Maybe even if I'm living alone and just have noodles at new years if this is what I'm seeing to welcome every year I'm still very happy. And I'm happy also that I'd happen to see your video. It makes me wants to go home in the philippines 🥺
Yes indeed!! Philippines fireworks is absolutely amazing and this made me think to try it, write it on my bucket lists. When I was younger I used to watch the countdown on TV then wishing to be part of it one day. The only thing is that huge traffic and the crowd that I am hesitant but when I show this to my husband he said oh yeah we can definitely book a hotel and watch in the balcony. Thanks for showing this wonderful fireworks! God bless you and your family! Please try to visit the beautiful beaches in the Philippines!😊😊
Your video really made smile . So glad seeing you guys so happy and appreciated our beautiful ways of celebrating new year in our country. It's really heartwarming and i'm so happy seeing your reactions in every firework displays you've seen. I hope you guys get to experience Cebu's Sinulog festival. It can get rowdy due to street party but it's going be a core memory as a family! Happy new year and enjoy your stay in my beloved Pinas! ❤❤
This also happened in Cebu the fireworks there during New year were amazing to watch, I am not from cebu but I experienced a new year there and I could testify how wonderful the display of fireworks during the new year.
You've got the best spot for New Years Celebration. Way back then its more like a war zone compare now. When you wake up in the morning youll see and feel the the war zone ! Happy New Year to you all ! I wish you all thr best in staying in the Philippines !
My parents literally forbade us from going upstairs during the peak hours of the NYE celebrations when I was growing up cuz of the risk of stray bullets! As much as I LOVE the old-fashioned Filipino NYE celebrations, I certainly do NOT miss trigger-happy knuckleheads shooting bullets in the air at the stroke of midnight!
Wow.. make my heart so happy.. missing home during Christmas.. Phillipines, you are the best. Thanks Korean family for this video.. soo happy to watch this❤❤❤❤❤😊
