@@Livingmln can you get out of the airport and get your 30k luggage? What if I have 22hr layover and I stayed with my family for overnight, will naia airport allow it? Do I need any visa like transit visa to do that?

@@mishunot normal visa rules apply I believe for most countries. If your nationality cant go to Philippines visa free for 30days etc. you'll have to do extra research You'll need to get visa or transit visa maybe 72 hours but I'm not educated enough on it to give advice. Luggage talk to airline when checking in mine got lost that transit. But it was suppose to go through to final destination.

Yes, very easy as an aussie(check own country requirements) ehealth check is required before checkin of the flight . Less than 30mins immigration lineups both times I've gone through the manila airport. Suggest use grab app to get around.

You have to do online e-healthcheck before airline will accept you both times I went. That will give you a green qrcode. Put in vaccination details etc. Unsure rules if not vaccinated. Search Philippines green qrcode. Other than that normal entry and exit rules depending on country visa rules. Aussies get 30days so no issues. Maybe 30mins immigration lineup.

@mmmisschan online before flight. The airline will want to see it while checking in. You'll end up with a qr acode. Please check in case things have changed in the last few months.

Hi there. Thanks for making this video, however did you arrive in nino aquino airport? Since its gonna be first time layover in manila on my way to japan this year on oct. any suggestion on place to visit during my estimated 14 hours stopby?

Yes, Nino airport. My flight arrived at night so this area is great. Cinema/food/attractions. If you arrive in the day, you have time to go downtown and back. Maybe old town tour. Even find a tour/guide that will pick you up and drop you back at airport.

Did you have to take your luggage and checked it in again during the layover or they manage to send it to the connecting flight? I’ll also have 15 hours transit time and don’t know if i will have to carry around my checked in baggage.

Well, I was told it would automatically go on next flight. It didn't make it on my 2nd flight so lost my luggage(i got it back when i returned to Manila)while I was in India. Double check when checking in, but I think they will keep it.

Australians and alot of other countries don't. Normal visa rules apply even if it is just a few hours outside, so check your countries visa rules.

Sorry Transit visa I'm not sure about. Just normal visa rules if you were visiting the country. My country is visa-free so just show passport and go through. Whatever your country rules are when visiting the Philippines I'd follow.
