I went to 11 islands in the Philippines back in 2017 and remember vividly the craziest sunset I've ever witnessed in San Juan, Siquijor Island. Your video of this sunset reminds me of my last sunset there but only more dramatic due to the presence of a cross erected on top of a rock outcropping out in the water with the whole sky burning in hues of crimson and orange giving the scene this surreal look you only see in movies. This vlog brings back a lot of memories. Safe travels.

When eating any type of pancit it's better for me to squeeze the kalamansi it's the small green lime that is really common here in the Philippines it's like our lemon. I love your videos you should also try to eat halo-halo it's a dessert with jelly, beans, banana, macapuno/coconut, jackfruit and nata de coco at the bottom and some crushed iced in the middle with ube, letche flan and ice cream on top as well as evaporated milk. It is a really good dessert for a hot weather.

Filipino dishes are mostly oily and seasoned more. We seasoned our dish with rice in mind. You need rice to neutralize every thing ... That's why we use spoons, put as much rice and as much of every thing in one mouth full to experience real complete flavor. And thats why we cook our meats well and tender,you should be able to cut your meat with a spoon,if you struggle cutting your meat with a spoon, the cook/chef failed ... We don't use knives on dinner table .. We use those for weapon

There is a marine sanctuary east of that island where you can free dive and swim with thousands of barracudas. Definitely on my list next Dec when I visit the country.

You guys should come and go to Coron, Palawan to see the clearest lake in the Philippines and the white beaches, I've been there once and you should go too also. Be careful with stray dogs. Even friendly ones that might just be playing can still bite you. Remember that rabies is still common in the Philippines.

I agree with Bitwise. Be careful in handling stray dogs. A Swedish Tourist died after petting a stray dog not knowing it was infected with Rabies. Dogs in the provinces are not fully vaccinated.

Siquijor Island is one of my fav island in the P.I. as well. But if you're talking about chasing waterfalls, nothing beats the island of Mindanao. more especially the dozens of waterfalls located within the vicinity of Iligan City. Another island close to the aura and ruggedness of Siquijor is Camiguin Island not far from there. The climb to the volcano alone is worth the visit to that island.

Guys, don't miss the chance to go to Apo Island, south of Dumaguete City. They have a turtle sanctuary were you'll swim with huge sea turtles literally meters away from the shoreline. Get ready to get wet on your way there, it's about an hour banca boat ride from mainland Negros Island.

I haven’t been to Siquijor but chased the water falls in Cebu and I will say the sites and adventure was next to none but the guides made the experience for us - they were funny, engaging, very very helpful and yes they took all the video and photo shots for us so that all that we had to do was take in all the fun. For this, I made sure that every guide we got we tipped well. The cost of the package plus the tip was way less than say, tickets to Disneyland. And being a guide is their livelihood. There were five of us and 3 guides and we made sure each guide received at least $300-$400 in tip each It was well worth it and the smiles on their face was Epic. Will you go to Enchanted River? Glad you’re enjoying Siquijor. 11:12 it’s not charsu pork, it’s Macau sausages (what we call in the Phils) or Chinese style sausages.

You are right that water falls looks likes manmade yet very natural. that's the beauty here in the Philippines waterfalls here in the Philippines is not that massive like in any other countries but God designes them so beautiful!i hope one day when you happen to visit Mindanao there is one waterfalls there that is famous but not much visited by foriegner tourists like you it's called "asik asik falls"so beautiful and uniquelly designed and so many others all over the Philippines. you will be chasing waterfalls in your hearts content.

Siquijor is really beautiful. It is good you enjoyed the island. By the way Pancit Canton is not usually eaten with rice. Just as is with a squeeze of calamansi and a piece of fried chicken is the best in my opinion.

If you want to swim with giant turtles, I mean not 1, 2 or 3 turtles but many in one dive visit Apo Island. It's a short hop from Dumaguete City in Negros Island. Better choice in my opinion for turtle videos than Balicasag Island or the southern Leyte beaches for the numbers of turtles in one spot due to it being in a marine protected zone.

Be careful going to waterfalls especially during moonson season the strong rainfall might happening in the top of the mountain and in an instant the huge surge of water coming down the rivers. There’s a recent incident somewhere here in the Philippines and lives are lost because of that disaster.

Never heard of that falls looks amazing and that tour guide was awesome. Sunset is incredible. Everything in siquijor is magical. You mentioned witchcraft that's one of the reputation of that island anyway I hope you did go to the balete tree which is so high like a 4 storey high tree and you can climb it. Hopefully you can also feature Manila in the future you can also go to the Chinatown there and try Chinese food. Just a tip, most of the subscribers are in Manila so you might wanna feature it too at some point

that pork you were wondering about is called Chinese chorizo, or in the Chinese name, Lap Cheong. You can find it in most groceries. They are very flavorful. I personally just slice them as you see in the pancit and shallow fry them and eat it with rice and a sunny side up egg.

We've got a few more vlogs we need to upload from the Philippines so keep an eye out for them, and then were off somewhere new ✌🏽😊 We film pretty much everything on a gopro 10 which has its issues like the audio, but its so easy to just carry and film everything so its pretty ideal for us.
