Glad to know that weddings in Pakistan too are celebrated as vibrantly as in India. Our cultures match so much. We prefer to listen and dance to the same music. We look the same. We eat the same type of food. Our languages Hindi and urdu are quite similar. I wonder why there are so many differences while in fact there are so little differences in reality. And this really bothers me.
@chandan sinha I agree with Priyanka , we enjoy marriages the same way you do. Mehndi, brat, Jourha all these customs are celebrated here with zeal and zest.
I am half indian and half pakistani (from lahore) and I have been to both countries. Both countries are EXACTLY the same, no difference! The ONLY difference is the news channels influencing people's minds.
