It would be great to practice a little "meeting someone on the street" dialogue, because I realize I'm learning words and phrases, but not a basic conversation. When I first learned French, it was practicing, "Hello!" "Hello, how are you?" "I'm doing okay, and you?" "Not bad." Some basic questions on the street stuff would be helpful!
You are so lucky! When I first started learning friend it was Michel, Anne, Are you doing your homework? No, we are watching television... :-) ❤ But I know what you mean. I got a little book called Polish for travelers and it was tiny and it had sentences like that, but of course it was a book. Not sure how I figured out the pronunciation. Probably from another book and probably not very well. The Polish lady in my office said that my sz and my si and other things shouldn't sound the same but she said was my American tongue. Also when people tell you where to put your tongue to pronounce something, that never helps me. I just have to keep hearing it over and over until I realize that I'm pronouncing my Z too hard. Oh! też is supposed to sound like John Tesh? I didn't notice that until I heard it about 30 times. (I think I went to the Deanna Troi School of pronunciation. I love her accents... I wonder if she ever tried Polish. I doubt it. Ewelina is good. And repetition is the only thing that gets through my head)
@@julieboo1715 right?!? It just doesn’t sound right. I spent a whole week walking around my house trying to say it at random points throughout the day and that was a year ago and it still sounds wrong 😑😂
