@@krzysztofnowak9750 Niemen wykonywał w wielu językach, trochę po włosku (także Dziwny jest ten świat, choć z banalnym tekstem - Io senza lei). Ale nagrał kilka pełnych albumów po angielsku, z zupełnie innymi utworami niż w Polsce. Posłuchaj genialnej kompozycji Inside Im Dying, z Mahavishnu Orchestra i genialnym Urbaniakiem. Angielski tekst też jest Czesława, bo wbrew obiegowej opinii, Niemen bardzo dobrze posługiwał się angielskim. A tak na marginesie, znałem go osobiście, już od 1968r. Prywatnie to był niezwykle ciepły, życzliwy i skromny gość. Potrafił słuchać innych, nie wywyższał się. Oczywiście dla muzyków był bardzo wymagający, choć nie apodyktyczny, także dlatego że sam był niezwykle pracowity. Dla mnie największe jego utwory to Cztery ściany świata (jest video z Sopot 1974) z genialnym Piotrem Dziemskim na perkusji, oraz Com uczynił z "maluchami" jak ich żartobliwie nazywał z SBB.

A small correction about Niemen's education, because it sounded a bit false. As far as I know, he had no formal musical education, but he was very well educated in another field (he was an electronics engineer or something like that) and he used it to create his music.

@@wujek2260 co ty wypisujesz. Jakim elektronikiem! Miał skończoną juz w Polsce średnią szkołę muzyczną w klasie fagotu, z doskonałymi wynikami. Wcześniej, jeszcze na Białorusi też chodził do szkół muzycznych. Czy wiesz, że już w Gdańsku, przez długi czas, zanim zaczął poważnie występować, pracował jako stroiciel fortepianów, tak tak, również dla orkiestr symfonicznych. Czesław, którego miałem szczęście znać już od 1968r., był niezwykle pracowitym gościem. Wbrew hipisiwskiemu wyglądowi, był bardzo sumienny, wymagający w pracy. Nigdy też nie pił ani nie palił. Żadnych innych używek rzecz jasna.

Czeslav Niemen is the author of the lyrics, the composer of the music and he is also the singer himself performing this song. It was presented and performed in 1967 at the Music Festival in Sopot / Poland. In 1962 the Cuban Crisis showed for the first time that humanity reached the level of destroying a whole world, with one weapon (nuclear). Czeslaw Niemen died in 2004 in Warsaw for stomach cancer after fighting the disease for decades.
