I have to be honest but the KSA themed kit looks pretty decent. The black Sela logo looks neat on the green kit, I like it a lot, looks very trendy and retro 🇸🇦
People wont be complaining when they see the opposite teams misplacing passes. Statistically this happens a lot when teams wear green shirts. With the sponsoring the shirt looks much nicer.
@@Cristobal_2012Research paper "The colour of a football outfit affects visibility and team success" on Research Gate. Quote: "Newcastle United conceded less goals and won more points while playing in kits associated with low visibility (r = 0.63; P = 0.007; r = 0.50; P = 0.040, respectively)."
@@chubbygallasso Swansea 15/16 away kit was the first time I noticed this... it's not exactly a full green kit but grass green/dark navy horizontals made it near impossible to see these blokes on the telly. Even though we ended up relegated we won 3-0 at home and thanks to pinching Shelvey they were no trouble at all but very interesting camouflage kit 😅💯
It looks beautiful, especially since he wore the third, not the official one However, you must accept it Because the investor did something that deserves praise from the Newcastle fans
It will end up where we won't want to risk wearing the top in case it gets snagged, damaged or stained. I stored away my original 93 McEwans home shirt now and got the retro to wear generally.
Pretty cool shirt actually!!! I your video you said you were getting a shirt with CL logo. Did you mean CL lettering? Did you get this? If so, can we see it? Is the pricing the same as the PL lettering?
Whats the issue with the font? Surely you can just buy the top with the just champions league badge, no font on the back and then just have the lettering sorted once its revealed? Or am i missing something?
Ive just looked at the champions league lettering and its a lot nicer than the prems since instead of the prem logo it has the club logo at the bottom and the fonts nicer
So we have 10 goalkeepers playing in our away games next season. There was a reason behind goal keepers in the past wearing green tops. To make it more difficult for the opposition to see the keeper when shooting. 🤷♂️ Hello! Last season’s were better & easier to pick out. I really think this is something importantly over looked. If we want to be the best, every detail needs to be the best 😮
Plenty of teams play in green kits and don't have a problem, only ManU's grey kit from years ago seemed to have caused a legit issue with misplaced passes and Fergie made them change it at halftime😅
Fabriano says Liverpool already in advanced talks with szoboszlai. We are losing him to Liverpool. If not mistaken I saw news article that says the player was keen to work with top managers only which is why the deal is progressing very fast
@@tigerstudios7158 maybe they know something we don’t know. We have champions league and yet we are struggling to attract players. I am really wondering why seriouslu
@@justwatch4218Liverpool is close to London Manchester etc younger players prefer night life. Up in Newcastle we don’t really offer much in terms of what he can get around him in Liverpool not saying we have a shit night out haha but it’s always harder attracting foreign players to the north east.
@@Geordie7878 oh thanks for the insight. I’m not from the uk 🇬🇧 but anyways let’s hope this transfer window goes through with a couple more signings that’s going to strengthen important areas.
We won three FA Cups in the 1950s. We played in black and white, and feom footage I've seen, the world was black and white, no colour existed until the early 70s. Clearly never affected the players passing.
I don’t think it’s got nothing to do with Saudi Arabia, we’ve had green kits before, the ASICS McKewans away kit. It’s only the media saying it to press buttons
Im Saudi and agree and sorry for the Saudi embarrassing comments, your club legacy is important to the people of Newcastle, they don't need to sell themselves and make a theme to please owners! Silly media idea
I heard the Champions League kits might have a white/black box on the back for the player number, forced by UEFA, which would invalidate all shirts sold with the CL patches!
This is one reason why I've never gone in for personalisation with shirts, perhaps just add a number or not bother. Unless it's your own name. Always had "Phipps" with 10 on mine (nickname & birthday).
There was some research done on kit colours a few years ago across several leagues. They found that teams playing in red had a higher passing accuracy because it’s a colour that is more visible in the peripheral vision. Alex Ferguson also banned one of their away kits in the 90s because visibility of it wasn’t good. I think a few players complained at half time when they were getting beat. It might be psychological, but I know it’s a subject that has had some research done in it. Serie A is also banning green kits because it wasn’t good for TV. No idea how that worked but it was reported by several outlets.
Have to agree, as much as the shirts look good, visibility is essential, which I think is overlooked. Most successful teams are in high visibility strips.
It's really nice but they have yet again failed to do infant sizes under 2-3 years which is really disspointing. Emailed Castore today about the home and away shirt but they still have no idea when they're gonna be released absolute joke Be going for mine in the morning, first tune in over 5 years when I'll have both home and away shirts
Not whinging, just concerned. Time will tell. Will it fare better in overcast conditions or sunny? Time will tell. I was honestly expecting this to be the third kit, not the "away". I do like it, just think it's a better third.
@@Cristobal_2012 I like the Strip, I'd wear it. However I'm sure I read somewhere that changes/no change this season were going to be ; - white socks for the home kit - new blue away - Saudi 3rd
I suggest that the Saudi national anthem be played every Newcastle game and all their fans cheer it together. I mean if it were not for the Saudis, your team would be competing in the second division and competing to qualify for the Premier League 😝
What the hell are the official store doing with the Premier League printing on the shirt with the Champions League badge 🤦🏻♂️ Well done for continuing to highlight the issue Adam!
Does anyone know if the club actually make money out of the shirt sales or has cashley fucked us over with that through contracts that castore get it all or the majority percentage?
Sorry to sound blunt but If people dont like it then dont buy it its as simple as that lol. Mind you 78 quid for a top is mental but thats just the world we live in these days 😔 dh gate they 15 quid lol

I really think it's pathetic how we as a football club cater to the Saudi Arabia. These kits in Saudi colors has nothing to do with Newcastle what so ever. Cannot get behind this.
