This train only has three stations, which are King Khalid Airport and King Mohammed bin Salman Road. There is another metro that will connect it to this metro.
Hi @perfect8299 I understand that KAFD Metro Station will connect to 3 metro lines in 2024, plus the monorail in 2026. As far as I'm aware, none of the 6 Riyadh Metro lines have started operations yet - but should start this year.
Very true. I saw that downtown Riyadh is very busy at nighttime. I also visited Diriyah during the daytime and there was only a few people there. I know it's much more active in the evening. I couldn't stay later as I was catching a flight in the afternoon. I will add a video about that soon. 🙂
Most of the building have already been rented by financial institutions, Saudi Central bank , Saudi Payment and many more. There are many cafes and restaurants too.
Sure! I have been based in Southeast Asia for 10 years and have explored the Middle East too - but I have not been to anywhere in South Asia yet! Thanks for watching.
Thank you. Nighttime is definitely busier, but a bit harder to film. 🙂 Next time I film in Riyadh/KSA, I will try to add more nighttime events. Thanks for watching!
Yes, totally. My timings were limited as I had to catch a flight to Dubai (and then ended up continuing to the UK as storms hit the UAE). Work is still being done to develop Diriyah as well as Qiddiya, Mukaab etc, so I hope to see them once ready!
Hi Jon, I am a Civil Engineer from Canada and I am eager to move to Saudi Arabia. What would be the best way to secure a job. Would truly appreciate your advise.
Hi. I'm not sure of your background but I'd suggest the usual consultancies like Jacobs, Aecom, Mott MacDonald etc. PIF backed companies like NEOM and Red Sea are also always hiring - but their locations are usually remote.
I wasn't granted access to the district more than once!! I wonder how u were able to get access...!!! Unless you're an intruder...if that's the right word!!!
then you’re probably entering through the wrong gate, there’s a few areas people aren’t allowed to go into so maybe you mistaked it for the wrong gate because I’ve been over 50 times and I’m always allowed without anyone asking me anything
@maliksuleman5677 You can walk around the KAFD. Although it's not fully operational, there are some people already working there. Obviously you cannot enter active construction sites.
Sure, I guess KSA has changed a great deal since 2005 though. I think international firms will be moving to KAFD. I will go back to check at some point.
