Chong Pang City is a housing estate and neighbourhood centre in Yishun, Singapore. It was named after the former Chong Pang village, which was one of the oldest villages in Singapore. Chong Pang City was established in 1984 as the first neighbourhood centre in Yishun New Town, and it served the residents of the nearby HDB flats, private houses and military camps. Chong Pang City has a wet market, a food centre, a community club, shops, a library, a polyclinic and a park. It is also home to the Chong Pang Combined Temple, which houses six Chinese religious groups.
Chong Pang City is undergoing a major redevelopment, which will transform it into a new integrated development with smart, green and inclusive features. The new Chong Pang City will have a new community club, a new hawker centre and market, swimming pools, a gymnasium, a jogging track, fitness studios and a variety of shops. The new Chong Pang City is expected to be completed in 2027, and it will rejuvenate the 40-year-old neighbourhood and meet the diverse needs of its residents. The groundbreaking ceremony for the new Chong Pang City was held on March 26, 2023, and it was attended by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Minister for Home Affairs and Law K Shanmugam.
