Yea Mon Amaru I love salt fish with lots of onion and tomatoes Jamaicans would boil some green banana, plantains, yellow yam, dumplings and sweet potatoes to eat with that maybe piece a coco for dinner. For breakfast we keep it simple and eat it with green banana and a piece of sweet Yam. Yummy M
Oh we add those ground provisions too, but it's just me and I figured, if I added allll of them, I would be stuffed for at least a year, lol ;) But I hear ya. And we have similar history and cooking habits, even our native Creole language sounds similar to Jamaican Pattois, so ;)

Really? Well, you learn something new everyday ;) But it doesn't surprise me, as the entire Caribbean is populated with descendants of the Maroon slaves from Africa, so it makes sense to me ;)
