You can tell Buakaw is loving every second of the fight. It's like that really strong anime character that finally meets someone his match and gets really excited about the fight.
These two are true legends in their chosen skill. It was a true pleasure to be able to see them in the ring together in my lifetime. Not many warriors like these exist, awesome video. ✌
I am from Indonesia, very respectful and amazed by the struggle of Buakaw, with his martial arts he has popularized his country. he is really a valuable asset. hopefully buakayw will continue to be healthy.
These kinds of fights almost never turn personal. They both respect each other as a fighter. That means they don't hate each other, but they don't like each other that much too.
Counting critical hits and direct hits, Shaolin won both (Muay Thai guy was only 2 points behind on direct hits though). It was close! In an unregulated fight, or on turf more familiar to the Shaolin, Muay Thai man would be deceased by now. Great fight!
@@ballallas123 Probably he used sanda-techniques. You learn this as a shaolin monk, but maybe he has created his own MMA by looking for other fighting styles.
You didnt see the whole fight. This wasnt even a properly edited "highlights" reel. It was just a sloppily thrown together mix of random parts of the fight.
That was a battle of two amazing fighters. Buakaw is in my humble opinion the best fighter I have seen at that weight but man was he in a battle there. How fucking tough is the Shaolin. Amazing. I hope they remember that day forever as a day that they were at their peak. I salute them.
What about Buakaw's punches, kicks, and knees? The Chinese fighter looks tired after the 1st round. Buakaw could go 5 rounds with this guy. Wished there were more than 3 rounds.

Yi Long clearly won this fight but it was fixed. How can I tell? The cameraman came closer to Buakaw and focused on him, shortly before he was declared the winner. How did cameraman know? 😒
Correct me if im wrong. Shaolin were supposed to make peace they are monks for a reason they train to meditate and obtain positivity that only few will ever achieve and i belive that Yi long isnt a legit monk Still huge respect to the both fighters

По сути, обе артисты бойцовского балета. Выступают за деньги и этим все сказано. Буакаву уже нечего себе доказывать. Молодость не вечна, а старость бойца требует много баблишек на здоровье.
I honestly believe if Muay Thai is brought into such cross martial art fights, it must be done with Muay Thai rules. Clinching must be allowed, that’s where the magic of Muay Thai lies.
